It's good to know who here "plays" with their figures and who doesn't, for sales purposes.

On ebay, I always see "comes from a pet-free, smoke-free home"... but then you think "...from an owner who posed the **** out of this figure."
But they do come from a pet-free, smoke-free, child-free, play-free, alcohol-free, dust-free home.

That's the other thing they never put -- humidity-free.

Humidity is the worst thing for figures.
Arghhh can’t believe I forgot the most obvious thing!! So does this mean when we sell now we have to include geo coordinates, average humidity levels and what air purifiers etc we use?

Probably wife-free or girlfriend-free home too
Yeah but they stay far away physically and mentally so no biggie

:lol

Yes that was the other thing. Only handled by gloves. I notice even Terry Smith is using gloves now although that may have just been for fingerprint magnet figures.

Reminds me when I went to see a book at our war memorial which had a great uncles name in it who fought in WWI and the dude with the white gloves gently smacked my mothers hand as she went to touch the book.

“Madam we don’t touch the Hot Toys with our bare hands”

I’m not sure that’s accurate. I recall seeing her spots being offered (scapled) for that price. One of those posts were heavily criticized by someone very familiar with her because the individual was selling her spots for multiples of her actual price.

I planned to watch the film today in the middle of this hype but I ended up watching batman 89 instead

Finally bought the sculpted hair Batman standard edition, can’t wait to have this next to my Dark Knight Joker from IA also. I got a feeling those two together will match like bread and butter. For some reason I reckon those two looks together would look better than the Christian Bale Batman with the Heath Ledger Joker

I think this batman next to joaquins joker will be chefs kiss

This is 1000% a steal ($990 is basically the price of a painted head sculpt from Yelim) and why I didn't even hesitate pulling the trigger on it.
I've seen worse. Repainted BD Mark 85 for $2000 by Owen. It's a beautiful repaint but $2000 is insane.

I think my hard limit on figures is in the $1000 area for sure. The reason it's not as bad from Inart compared to custom sculpts or figures I've seen is is that it's for the price of two figures with full rooted hair. Hell I've even seen a Breaking Bad Heisenberg for $2500 and a Hector figure for $10,000.

It's a beautiful piece of work but there's not a single figure I would ever pay that much for. The figure better be paying rent if I bought it for that much.

It doesn't seem that far off. All the top dogs in the custom field are charging close to a grand for a custom sculpt + paint work. I know nightt47 charges about $800 for his paintwork on sculpts.

I’ve never been changed more than $350 by him for any 1/6 sculpt he’s painted for me. He’s currently working on 2 for me now.
