The Empire needs to be treated as an actual threat in this series.
The way they're treated in Rebels, Mando and Kenobi can't be repeated here.
Stormtroopers in the OT went from slaughtering Rebels on the Tantive 4 to the comedy act of the Deathstar escape (though they let them escape) to thrashing to Rebels on Hoth to be being battered by teddybears on Endor.
Rogue One was a mixed bag but the most embarrassing stuff was mostly down to Force shenanigans. Ultimately, troopers killed every Rebel on Scarif. Deathstar killed the 2 main characters. The Empire swept the board in that movie. They were a very real threat.
For this show to work, the Empire needs to be a real threat.
No troopers sat around missing their practice shots at short range. No, dozens of troopers shooting at a group of Rebels at short range and missing nearly all their shots.
A Star Destroyer with its squadrons of TIES should be a real threat.
In the OT and Rogue One when Stormtroopers were shooting at people other than the main cast, they were pretty lethal.
This show needs the Empire to be a legitimate threat.

Soooooo I thought they said K2 wouldn't be in the 1st season of Andor?

Kinda dumb to have him on the promo poster, no? Disney loves setting expectations.... :lol

Maybe he's some kind of salvage droid, seems fitting.
Looks like his segmented body expands up, and from the box art can move and tilt his "neck" likely gives him some expressive character.

Ok that's pretty cute, like he's asking for a treat, it does give him character.

Did we get Andor's age in Rogue One? If not, going by the actor was abut 38, this is five years before.

Also is that purged Beskar armor as part of that museum display?
There should be someone coming for it :wink1:

Every time I see this.....

All I can think about is this....

B.O.B..jpg

B.O.B.... From Disney's very own Black Hole movie. Disney's Star Wars artists have no creativity/imagination when it comes to expanding the Star Wars universe. Everything they have created has been borrowed from something...

There is not one thing Lucas didn't "borrow from something".
You must have some tiny frame of reference, if you think it's only Disney doing that. :lol

I guess should have clarified when I said Disney's Star Wars artists borrowing from something. I meant borrowing from their own (previous) properties. Hence the droid from Andor looks just like B.O.B. from The Black Hole.

Thanks for pointing out my tiny frame of reference.

It’s definitely a great poster.

“It’s a 5 second fly by shot. No one’s going to notice.”

10 minutes later: The thunderous cries of thousands of eagle eyed nit picking Star Wars fans in the distance.
Even though almost every gun in the OT were based on real world guns :lol. But nowadays that’s just cheap and lazy!!!
