For the record, despite what I said earlier about seeing what my childhood imagined when I was playing with my toys, I honestly think this was the worst episode of the series yet.

NOTHING happened to advance the plot. Nothing. It was the very definition of filler.
What plot were you hoping to see advanced? The overarching plot has centered upon (a) Reva’s obsession with capturing Kenobi and gaining the power she feels she deserves, and (b) Obi-Wan struggling to come to terms with his past failures and renewing his faith in the Force & the fight for good. While not a great episode those threads were certainly followed.

The parallels with Leia’s rescue from the Death Star in ANH while obvious were still well done for the most part. Obi-Wan’s misdirecting stormtroopers, Leia’s resistance to having her mind probed, placing a tracker on Lola, etc., all nicely done.

I did laugh at the scene where Obi-Wan escaped the flooding hallway without a drop of water getting through the doors Tala closed. Talk about perfect timing! :lol

i honestly put aside the errors from previous episodes but i honestly can't for episode 4. reva is still annoying. more annoying in this episode since she had more screentime. idk what it is, she just tries too hard. whatever direction disney decided was okay for reva is awful.

last i checked, a snowspeeder had 2 spots for people to sit in. maybe im nitpicking but i dont think a snowspeeder should be hovering in the air when wade or whatever that rebel's name was, when he fired at reva.

and kenobi? how can we go from episodes where a woman's hand gets wacked off, a storm trooper getting cut in half, and vader snapping a kid's neck to kenobi using his lightsaber like its a baseball bat? just for mere sparks to come off a trooper's armor. shouldn't a lightsaber go through someone like butter? finale luke in mando cut up dark troopers like cheese. its honestly so inconsistent with what disney is trying to do. i dont mind not having dismemberment, but don't make a **** lightsaber a baseball bat.

i should've listened to the people, this show is a little bit of a let down. just like book of boba.

Maybe he set his lightsaber to stun. :rotfl

I was wondering that it was unusual for Imperial officers to wear overcoats...

And then it all became clear...

Looking forward to the next episode...

It’s a laser sword - he hit him with the side of the blade rather than the sharp edge. :lecture
:rotfl
Can't wait to read the explanations for this... :rotfl

The responses from the Disney apologists and shills defending this should be entertaining in itself. Let's see if Chow herself comments...

He didn't say that line in ANH though. He said it as a ghost in ROTJ where he assumedly would have had all kinds of extra knowledge as an enlightened being.

Right which is why we're all assuming they'll continue the Rocky III routine and have there be a big rematch where he defeats Vader again.

Whoa...
Duh… that quote is from ROTJ

I pictured it in the hut in ANH the entire time

Please deduct 20 SW nerd points from me.

Finally..we get a live action … lightsaber vs stormtroopers..not clone troopers battle for once ..I wish Jedi Luke did this more in the OT besides the one moment on Endor in ROTJ ..It’s the kind of thing that was missing in BOBF and the Mandalorian I’ve been waiting to see in the OT :lecture

It’s apparent this show wants to show a “ What IF “ we got to see the true relationship with Obi-Wan and Leia that was missing in the OT.

Which is something I thought was odd at the beginning but now I feel it needed to happen in the OT
