I'm still amazed hot toys never went for the runny makeup artist joker. Its one of the best scenes in the film, which has aged amazingly well because of how quirky it was.

Whoa! I'm very excited that someone is finally doing the Mob Boss version of the Joker.

Always wanted that one! Striped suit is awesome!!!!

I hope they get their tailoring better though... and fix that terrible hat... and wouldn't the joy buzzer be a better extra?

I wouldn’t count on the tailoring being good. But it will be the only mob joker out there, so I’d pick it up anyway

If you are going to rip off the Hot Toys Joker at least try and change a few aspects about it like the hair or the undersized hat. This is just a blatant copy. Stick with the original.

He's cheap and cheerful, and you can do whatever you want with him without suffering major regrets or guilt.

I had two DX08s on pre-order and eventually ended up cancelling both of them.

The '89 movie wasn't a big draw, but I liked the idea of a Nicholson Joker, even though I've always thought of him as a fake, dead Joker.

Nolan's Harvey Dent was a fake, dead Two-Face, but I ended up with two of them. In my mind figures have a life beyond their brief time on film, but Nicholson was never going to fit with anything else. I had a few small regrets later, so when Mars offered a cheap stand-in I went for it. Even now he won't fit, so will probably end up with '66 Batman and Robin in lieu of Cesar Romero - my favourite Joker, and the one that still creeps me out!

If the production sculpt can get close to that it might hard to pass up. I really wish HT would have done it. They already had a great base. And the hand buzzer is a no brainer ,come on. And yeah, the hat sucks. But the HT hat sucks. Mine can't wear it anymore anyway because the hair modified. I'd love to have a proper hat one day. Hell, idc if it's molded to the head.

Ok… looks great… but it’s 100% a HT copy.
Had to dare…
Can’t understand they’re allowed to sell that?
Cool for those who missed the HT one.

Mars Toys said there will be another run of these. Keep an eye out for when they go up for PO
Great! Thank you for the info! :hi5:

HT KOs get released every now and then. It's nothing new. The thing is, they don't usually look this as good as this one.

There was a KO EP3 Anakin by ARToys. But like many HT KOs, they used the HT figure in the promo images, and then churned out something that looks way less than the HT figure. Boots were missing straps, belt was less detailed and not as accurate as HT with cheap pleather, lightsaber blade and hilt looked like Hasbro quality and headsculpt was painted with the standard low quality recast paint.

This MarsToys figure surprsingly looks pretty much damn near HT quality though which is refreshing.

The sculpt looks nicely painted on this. Unfortunately the clothes appear to be way too baggy and the lapels look bad on both the jacket and coat. It’s a shame they didn’t widen the brim on that hat too.
Oh, well. I’ve got two on the way for customs. Maybe I‘ll just turn one into museum version and sell the other.

Lapels look fine to me, though I've never had the original. Probably just need some water treatment and futzing. By how baggy the pants and vest look, I wonder if this has the fatsuit underneath? Also, doesn't look to have the white sleeves under the orange shirt. Tie needs to be redone in a proper bow knot. But, all things consider, it's a fine lookin KO for the most part with minor things that need fixing imo.

I’ve got two originals so depending on how well the clothes futz I may swap the original I have on display in the trencher for one of these and use the HT for the custom Vale apartment Joker I have planned.

a huge improvement from Cyber-X's mime. if it ain't broke, don't fix it. definitely not a fan of their customer service and being all quiet on social media when theres tons of people constantly asking them for updates. i wonder how long the second batch will be since it took 2+ years for this to finally release
