For the most part, the FX on the show is decent. With one exception: why do the Trandoshan's look so godawful? That is some terrible CGI?

Just use a mask if that is how they are going to look. If we get a ******* terrible CGI Bossk cameo, I'll be pissed. Assuming Fett's teeth don't cause my eyes to go fully blind from how bright they are.

I noticed that the Tusken Chieftain said "there are many Tusken tribes. We have always hidden, other tribes survive by killing." So at least they're calling out that this tribe is different and that not all of them are good deep down.
The tribe that survives by hiding... also knows that a train full of snipers comes by on a routine basis and yet they keep staying out in the open at that same spot to get themselves and their banthas killed. Great comedy writing. :lol

Yeah I noticed that. I guess we can allow for the first passing of the train to be the actual first time that train made that route? But it did seem strange that they had that Bantha all out in the open the second time around though.

Well... didn't Boba's mission to retrieve the speeders imply that this was a routine occurrence? It's hard for me to believe that Boba just correctly assumed it was going to *start* being a routine thing.

But this last episode was full of stuff like that (from my pov, at least). I don't think I've ever laughed harder watching Star Wars, and I'm not being hyperbolic.

Yes, the chieftain did casually refer to it as the "long speeder" as opposed to "wtf was that???" lol

I guess we can pretend then that they'd seen the train several times but that it was the first time that the Pikes actually shot at them. The lead Pike did tell Fett "we thought you were uncivilized raiders" which could suggest that they had recently been attacked by one of those "other" tribes that survives by killing, lol. So from that point on the Pikes' orders changed to "shoot all Tuskens on sight" which would have taken Fett's buddies by surprise.

It still doesn't explain why they were all out in the open the second time around though, lol.

Well they're all hopped up on psychedelic-lizard-vision, who know's what crazy they are seeing.
Explains how Obi Wan so easily frightens them just stumbling along growling like a Kryat and waving his hands about. :lol

Actually on that note did anyone else feel that the initial sound of the train was very similar to the original monster scream that Kenobi did to startle the Tuskens in ANH? I was actually pretty surprised when it turned out to be a vehicle and not a beast of some kind.

Yes it's strange that in 42 years they've never been able to match let alone improve on Bossk's original look. I think the
Khev every time he thinks about Bossk's OG look 🤭

Trandoshans on this show are practical masks with crappy CGI eyes?

CGI eyes ruin everything.

I actually thought it was the krayt dragon again but yes it did sound like the Kenobi screach.

That was stupid IMO. *&^% writing. If it's trying to explain why this tribe is kinda nice and didn't just put a few spears in Boba and the onsey, they never say why, so it's just left hanging. :pfft:

Are they the tribe that went vegetarian and spend all their time high on dried lizard droppings? If that's true, why are they apparently effective enough warriors? They don't seem any different from Mando's buddies, except the robes.

So they wanna hide so much, unlike other Tuskens who travel in single file "to hide their numbers" these Tuskens form up to travel like they're doing a line dance? :banghead

I’m hoping the female Tuscan raider doesn’t turn out to be something like a human that was found and raised by the tribe. Although Disney has already gone “Dances With Tuscans” on Boba (which I have liked), so won’t be shocked if they’re thinking, “why not rip off even more of that story.” I’m half dreading a scene where she ends up taking off her robes and mask and is shown to be this feisty badass, but attractive woman in her late 30s or early 40s (i.e. Boba’s love interest). That surprise reveal/forced romance trope has been done dozens of times, but I can just feel it coming.
Don't shoot the messenger, but there have already been rumors that (a) Boba wasn't the first outsider to be indoctrinated into the tribe and (b) she and Space Vespa Girl from the trailers are one and the same. She did seem to handle a speeder bike better than any of the other Tuskens. But even if they're different characters, I doubt that either one is from central Italy. :D

Throat maybe? Although he has so many chins it counts as part of his face.
Clearly the shot came from behind.
The head went back and to the left, meaning there was a second shooter.
Take a closer look, the head clearly goes back and to the left, back and to the left. Back and to the left. 🤔
