The angle of the picture helps. To someone randomly looking at the figure it'd be easier to ignore. Since I know exactly where to look it's immediately eye-catching. When I first opened the figure the shoulder pad was under the right collar piece. I adjusted the shoulder pad to go over that piece and applied a good deal of pressure. I wanted to do as much as I could before resorting to glue.
any type of super glue would be ok I assume?

Got to love SS customer service. Got my replacement body in today.

Glad to see more are arriving. Heck, I've been waiting so long I've begun to wonder if this figure disappeared in a snap...

More pics are always appreciated!

I got Cap a few months back, never posted any pictures before now. I think mine turned out well, I think the proportions look good. The only "modifying" I did was use a heat gun to form the Chest piece around the body underneath a little better, as it looked a little bulbous to me. I think it had the added bonus of accentuating the traps.

So my Cap arrived today.

I have to say that I really like this figure a lot. Even though I have been really happy with my Civil War version, I have to say this one bests it.

However, in hand I have to admit that although the helmeted head sculpt has a great resemblance to Chris Evans, it does seem a tad small (to my eye). So I swapped the Endgame headsculpt with a Strike Suit sculpt I got a few months ago and painted. I went for a slightly damaged/worn look but didn’t pull it off as well as I’d hoped.

I realize that my painting skills are no where near those of the people at Hot Toys (nor those of the members of this forum), but I am pretty happy with how the repainted Strike Suit Head looks on this Endgame body. Now instead of thinking about whether this figure’s head is too small or not I can focus on what a great representation of one of my favorite comic book heroes this figure is.

I have not done it in these pictures but I am also going to pair this figure with the die-cast CW shield

OMG man, all of the pics you have put up today are fantastic!!

I love how these three look together, they all look amazing in their own regard. I forgot how awesome that particular Iron Man armor looks!
Thank you! Yeah it was great to put them all together. First time I have ever owned an incarnation of each character all at once. And yeah, the Mark VI is definitely no slouch!

The holy trinity! When that Battle-Damaged Mark 85 releases, I'm going to have to think long and hard about whether I want to sell my Mark VI to fund that purchase...
Firstly, your photos look SO good. Just amazing!

And secondly, that was EXACTLY my concern when I bought (still waiting for) Endgame Cap. I have the Mk VI diecast as well and as love it so much. It was my first and only Iron Man figure, and when it came out the Mk VII diecast hadn't been release. I probably would have gone for that one as I love how chunky it is and it's in my favourite parts of Avengers. BUT... I also love the Mk VI. The heavy metal physicality of the earlier suits just appeals to me so much, they look like something that could almost exist. And once I had the Mk VI it just blew me away and I knew I'd be happy with it being my only IM figure.

And then Endgame came out, and I ordered Endgame Cap. And started thinking "oh man, I'll probably want to put them together. They won't look right! I need Tony's Endgame suit! (don't know the number sorry lol). And then Thor too probably.
I actually asked people on Reddit I think what I should do and everyone told me to keep the Mk VI as it's really good. But I'm not sure. I don't want to get rid of it, but i do NOT want two IM figures lol. I don't have space (or money) for multiples. My collection isn't that big it's more props and stuff (see attached pic for one shelf in my studio)

But yeah... I know I'm going to wish I had the Mk 85 (just looked up the number lol)... but don't want to get rid of the Mk VI... but don't want both 😂

First world problems. Your pics look so good though maybe I can just pretend that's how he looked 😄

Thank you! I too prefer the physical suits over the nanotech suits - they certainly make for more interesting toys. I'm in the same boat that space and finances means I'm not keeping two red and gold Iron Men on my shelf. The VI certainly doesn't jump out as out of place next to Endgame Thor and Captain America.

I think you should both just keep your Mark VI. The Mark 85 figure left a bit to be desired in the accuracy department and the BD version will likely be the same figure just with the BD parts - even those BD parts might not be done well.
You're likely right. I'm definitely not making any rash decisions prior to seeing how the final product Mark 85 Battle-Damaged turns out.

Awesome lineup! The Mark VI definitely doesn't look out of place (though a bit too tall, but that's the diecast scale). I also like the mechanical suits more, so I may be biased as well (though my Avengers lineup has the Mark III instead).

"Is it too much to ask for both? It's how dad did it, it's how America does it... and it's worked out pretty well so far." :lol

If you can just keep one, go with your favorite suit (as long as it fits in with what you want your display to be), whether it's the Mark VI or 85. I didn't want to fall into the multiple IM trap either but lost that battle with the Mark XLII (it doesn't fit in anywhere, but I love the design too much to let it go... and the Mark III isn't going anywhere either). :gah:

See I could almost talk myself into also owning that suit-up Mark V figure since that’s more of a Tony figure than an Iron Man one. Then I’d have my bases covered for the mechanical looking suits while also having what has the potential to be the definitive Iron Man figure in the battle-damaged Mark 85 if that head sculpt holds up in production and if they get their **** together on the battle-damaged effects.

Anyhow, more Cap photos! This guy is unbelievable! :panic::panic::panic:
