Plus they only have like 2 female bodies, and none of them have the proper connection for a head with a neck sculpt.

Awesome looking figure.

I’m really surprised HT hasn’t tried seamless neck/head sculpts for the female figures. I feel like something like that would have worked well for Captain Marvel

The sculpt looks good but I'll wait for the DS version to see if the costume is any better. I have my CW version and that's good enough for now.

New hair sculpt looks much better, but I’ll still try to pick up a parted out HS and have the hair rooted. HT probably knew they couldn’t consistently cost-effectively replicate the wild witch hair in mass production which is why they opted for sculpted.
That and HT has given up on rooted hair since they suck at it compared to Asmus or other 1/6.

The reason that is funny to me is because if they wanted wild witch hair all they would have needed to do is what they do for all of their rooted hair figures. Right out of the box if I touch the hair they go crazy anyway.

From Sideshow’s booth, looks like Hot Toys sent them the newly-sculpted head. She looks fantastic!

I want to get this but the hair still doesn't look right. Maybe they're just working from Dr. Strange concept art now.

whoopsie, I spot red marks on her left armpit here.. most likely from her costume!
Yeah I caught that, too. As a prototype I’m sure it’s had some hand touch-ups here and there, which would be more likely to transfer to other surfaces than a finished product will. I wouldn’t worry.

Ah yes, you're probably right.
I do love the headsculpt, though. If that's what we're all gettin, I am happy!

It is indeed a great sculpt, but I can't help but feel the hair needs to be more brighter in color. If memory serves me correctly the color was almost kinda orangish...

Yeah, hair color could be tweaked- though it's also a tweak that hobbyists themselves can do fairly easy, if they feel they need to.

I loved the way this looked under those colored LEDs. Glad I have it on pre-order.

It's curious to see what Hot Toys did with Ahsoka Tano's shoulders and the fact that they chose not to do it here.

The Ahsoka body will definitely tear if left in any pose for too long. Even a simple pose like this hands on hips is too much. And it will be impossible to replace because of the orange skin tone.

I'm wondering if its possible to switch Ahsoka to the Clone Wars Ahsoka body because that one has the visible shoulder joints. Body type is too small but maybe we can swap the legs?

We shall see if the new body HT is making
for the new WW will fix this as they say it’s being made for better shoulder articulation. Hopefully it is better and they use the same on Ahsoka
