Nice shots!

Agreed. I too prefer the MOS suit over both BvS & JL suits.

Thanks, SS! Nice to hear from you...

Thank you. :duff And another fantastic shot!

I really like the MoS figure and suit design. I just wish there was an updated version with the newer tech HT has been using on the suit since BvS to get a better/flatter S shield, finer chainmail pattern, articulated boots and screen printed cuffs instead of the thick, plastic separate ones he comes with. Unfortunately, HT seems only interested in reissuing old DC figures rather than updating them these days.

Thanks. I also had a base made for "Greenhorn", with the "Debby-Sue Deep Sea Fishing" logo, but i was never able to locate a suitable set of clothing for him, lol.

Ahhh shucks! Would've looked cool too to recreate the beginning of the film!

Which is the best head sculpt mms 200 or tms 038 (superman black suit)?
I found a misb mms 200 for 400$ but it is 8 years old figure and I dont know if buy it or not.
From video review it seems mms 200 still looks more like cavill, but maybe in hand it is not true...

I reckon the BvS/Justice League head looks slightly better than the MMS200, but many will argue with that. The MOS figure has a softer look on his face and he looks a bit more angry on the later figures. It all comes down to your own preference. I can post comparison images if you like as i have a spare BvS head and the MOS figure to hand.

IMO they are both good sculpts that capture different elements of the character. MoS as the longer hair and a softer expression, like username said. I think the effect is he has a bit of determined or contemplative look on his face. The BvS/JL sculpt has shorter, tighter hair and wears an expression that is much more scowl like. This guy has brows of steel and wants you to know it. I would define it as a menacing stare. With the shorter hair, it is a more severe look.

I just wanted to thank Remy, Gipetto0812, and davejames for posting their beautiful modified MOS figures.

2 weeks ago i decided to take mine out of the cabinet and replicate something similar. Ordered a custom cape off Jaxon which i'll get probably a few months later as its combined with another order that will take time.

So i just hastily glued the old cape back on as a temporary thing. Darkened the suit, repainted the S with metallic red paint, added a black wash for the boots which i didn't take a photo of but will when its completed.

Glad to be of help man.
Looks great.
The mods takes this figure to another level.
Im jealous of your headsculpt, still waiting on mine.

Looking forward to see your final outcome with the cape.

I've been too chicken to attempt the cape mod and it's been years since that was released.

Remy, the custom head sculpt (from Kit) is fantastic. It is my favorite, by far, even better then the original HT MoS sculpt. (for me)

Yeah, Kicking myself for not preordering sooner. I went ahead and preordered the 2nd batch from Kit, and I also found a seller from china on ebay who has one already in hand and ready to ship. So I went ahead and ordered it as well, since I dont know when Kit will have the 2nd batch ready.
Unfortunately, its sooooooooo slow shipping from China.
Im really looking forward to get that kit sculpt, because I passed on the Prime 1 JL 1/3 Superman, and now, I get a chance to have it in 1/6 scale to use on either the JL supes or MOS.
I hope It gets here soon.

I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t care for that Kit sculpt.

The sculpting looks fine, but the paint apps look SO soft in just about every photo I’ve seen.

Doesn’t hold a candle to the original MOS sculpt, IMHO. At least not without a complete repaint.

One Jedi Master’s opinion...

This is another example where pics do not do it any favors. It has actually looked different in many pics, including the ones that I've posted. On the shelf, in indirect lighting, it just captures Cavill the best, for me. Paint apps may not be at Hot Toys' level, but it really is fine enough on display. As I mentioned before, I would love to see one of the repaint masters have a go at this one. It can only bring out more of the actor in the sculpt.
