I thought the color of the suit was off, but it looks to be a case of lighting causes it to look one way or another. Probably also due to the more metallic colors of the suit.

As much as I don't care for Robin, it would be hard for me to just have Kilmer Bats without his flashy companion. Like I said, Robin is the distinctive accessory for Batman in Batman-3. Robin's suit would certainly brighten up the display too. Add to that... Schumacher vibe. Bright colors, nipples and codpieces.

DiFabio, I remember I had all the models from Batman and Batman Returns (Batmobile, Batwing, Batboat, converted Batmissile)... but stopped at Forever. I don't think it had one design I liked.

Batman faced Riddler alone at the end so I'll be fine owning just him if they don't improve Robin's suit. He was less a partner and more just another character who ended up needing rescuing.

Robin's main foe was Two-Face and he ended up just standing there and watching Batman defeat him too, lol.

I personally couldn’t see just having Batman without Robin or vice versa. Like the 66 versions of the characters they really go best together in my honest opinion.

Did anyone here buy those WB Stores Batman Forever Statues? They were crappy but yes, I bought them.

Back in 1995 my collecting pride was my 1/6th resin and vinyl kit collections. Billiken Joker, Horizon Batman, Penguin, a crawling Catwoman (forget the maker) and some garage kit of Riddler.

Re: Hot Toys Batman Forever Robin

Really no reason at all not to give him batarangs. I don't think we saw spike bombs in "The Dark Knight," but all of Batman's TDK figures came with them.

The mods really need to change the filter settings so that we can say "****," even if it's only changed for the DC section.

I too had them all, but stopped at Forever.

However, I do own all the Forever Kenner vehicles (along with the huge Batcave playset). About to bust them out when I get home.

I’m definitely all in on Batman, he’s an instant order, but I’m conflicted with Robin. I just don’t get how they can justify him only being $10 less than Batman, while Batman has moveable eyes, sonar eyes, a bunch gizmos, weapons and accessories. Batman is way more of a complex figure in comparison.

I dunno. I wish he had an magnetized codpiece under the belt so we could choose a cup size ya know. Give him a ****ing Batarang and Grapple gun too. Yeah, I know he didn’t use them (and I won’t use them either), but c’mon. $240 for barebones . . .

Even Kenner gave him stuff back in the day,

Maybe the paint colors on Robin jacked his price relative to Batman's few plastic extras?

If Robin was $230, I'd likely bite. Same price as troopers. Guessing an equally small edition size. But that extra $15 -- and yeah, its only $15 -- but still. And for a character I could really care less about. But a Forever shelf seems wrong without him.

Yeah that set and the Two-Face/Riddler set were the only ways to get movie accurate figures. They were awesome.

Also, they could have done this. How about a two-pack bundle? Batman as he is plus Robin as he is. $420 like Tarkin/Vader, Robocop/Murphy, Batman/Keaton Wayne, etc.

Pass on some savings on Robin to make people get him or something.

And that’s the thing, at this price and Hot Toys years of operations/business, this Robin should have ZERO QC flaws. The ****ing suit and paint better be perfect.
