That was some of the most awesome AND most infuriating SW that I could have asked for.

I kid you not when the X-Wing showed up I felt the hate swelling in me as I anticipated another Filoni cameo. I am NOT kidding, lol. So imagine the turn around at the actual reveal!

As for the infuriating I liked everything about Fett except for his one showdown ARE YOU KIDDING ME. WHY????? Seriously WHY?????? Of all the two-bit nobody characters for him to spar with and lose, WHY HER?!???? Not Mando, not Bo Katan, not even Cara. SOME STUPID LACKEY CHICK WHO DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A NAME?!?!? FAVREAU DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE HERE? Well I'm going to see that that nail you right to the wall here. RIGHT TO THE WALL.

And the people who hated Luke the lightsaber thrower are now celebrating Fett being taken down and trash talked to by a tiny nobody mando just because Filoni name is attached.

With the reveal of the Book of Boba Fett in the end scene does this mean the Mandalorian show is all done with Din Djarin?

Seeing that all of the episodes are referred to as chapters, perhaps next season will, in fact, be "The Book of Boba Fett", and it's not a separate show. Or, at the very least, it will be part of the season. There's still a lot of story left with Din (and probably Grogu), so they come back to that in season four. It would be a ballsy move, but I'd definitely give the show's creators credit for the ambition if they went about it this way.

Grogu has to come back, surely. It is his show as much as it is Dins. If he doesnt come back they will lose a lot of casual viewers that are only in it for ?Baby Yoda?. And we all know what happens to the students that Luke takes onboard.

With what just happened there is nothing that can't happen.

This didn't open the door it blew if right open.

I was honestly expecting a de-aged Han or Alden Han to show up but I think it was wise not to and let the big reveal be its own thing and let it breath so we could absorb all of that shock and awe.

They set it up so perfectly too by establishing how powerful those darktroopers are in the initial fight with Mando. It's what I have been dying to see since '83 but the charm of this episode exceeded even my wildest expectations.

Is that chick getting her own show? Spearheading a new film trilogy? Literally WHY did they go out of their way to put that scene in there. She is NO ONE. I thought sweet he's gonna mop the floor with her forcing Bo Katan to step in and THEN he'll meet his match but nope.

Thank God Mr. Bulloch himself was spared having to see such an embarrassment play out on screen. Unless they made the mistake of showing him an early preview yesterday to see how he'd react...

That whole session from tiny mandalorian taking Boba Fett down and smack talking him made me gringe.

The girl power avengers style assault on the ship didn't bother me whatsoever at least it was well executed but that tiny mandalorian trash talking Fett GTFO of here with that nonsense lol

Thank the maker they included the really big surprise that SAVED ME from all of that Fett misery and left me crying in joy.

Well, knew that wasn't gonna go over well. And I thought it was questionable, without being a long-term Boba Fan. Didn't compute.

But, I had to put up with an entire show being hijacked into pretty much a commercial for Filoni's pet character and a script that still gives me a headache.

To be a fan is to SUFFER. Srsly as this last episode started, I was praying the classic "last movie"/"last show" prayer of every fan - *please don't suck, please don't suck...."

Overall tho, for the whole season, while it's not the gritty Rogue One/Season One show I was hoping for - morphing into a lot of stuffed fan service and going places I think might have been better saved for later - it's been pretty awesome.

I loved Gideon knowing their whole plan. Proves that someone HAD to be secretly working for him, right? RIGHT??? And that someone held back a little while fighting a loser? RIGHT???

YES I TEARED UP WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. Holy crap one of the most touching (no pun intended) moments in all of SW.

I loved the jerky stop-motion style movements of the DT's.

I'm not as triggered as you and jye(perhaps because I'm more distracted by other stuff happening in the show) but I agree in principle. Some of Fett's return I have liked some not as much.
