The most obvious didn't even occur to me -- that does look like Little Nellie! :slap

When he said "short project" -- which I took to mean simple -- I immediately went to the bobsled even though the shape isn't wholly correct.

Little Nellie is my favorite Bond vehicle... and a must-have on Marine Boy's shelf.

Lieutenant dan spotted it.

Quick sizing test.

Once the internal supports were removed, there is plenty of space inside. A battery bank will power the 2 motors.

I'm using the stripes to hide a separation line.

My God man, this will be my favorite vehicle you do. I can't tell you how many times I've dreamt of a 1/6th scale Little Nellie...

I'm looking at the Corgi one on my desk right now. Its never far.

Started work on the frame. I thought about using steel bar for strength, but that would have been overkill and would have required a lot of fiddly welding. I opted to use plastic beams with brass cores for strength. It's much easier to attach the components to plastic than steel. The 2 tubes in the background are the rocket pods.

Rudder is functional.

Looking good!

My local aviation museum has a wing dedicated to Ken Wallis. I don't think they have Nellie on display, or at least they didn't when I last went. I have seen her up close when she appeared, with Ken himself, at a shopping mall. I also saw him fly her at local airshows in the late 70's and early 80's.

Yeah I'm curious as well. I've been seriously tempted to order their tactical outfit version, since it's a cool look and I'm still needing a Craig Bond of some kind in the collection.

I definitely won't be getting their new Ana de Armas figure though! Holy crap does that thing look ridiculous using the same tiny Joi head on the tall phicen body. Lol

I always felt Drax was one of the weaker Bond adversaries. Just my opinion.
I think my favourite of the Roger Moore era was Max Zorin.

Well, Moonraker had a lot more problems than just a weak villain.

I remember vividly as a kid, me and a friend listed all the things we feared most would happen to make Moonraker suck. And everything on our list happened -- from Jaws speaking, to turning good and helping Bond, to the movie just making a joke of just about everything.

I've always liked Moonraker, even though it does get a bit silly. The production values and music save it.

More work done on Little Nellie. If i can find a sound module for the guns, i may install some flashing lights into the barrels.

OK, this just became my favorite project of yours.

But I do have to say, Barry's score on Moonraker felt endlessly slow to me. Even the generally energizing 007 theme during the boat chase felt ill-paced and brought the excitement to a crawl.

Thankfully your recent vehicles are from far superior movies... particularly this often-underrated YOLT.

Marine Boy, I am transfixed with your creations! Have you finished painting your wetbike? I'm curious what electronic machine gun you end up using. I've been doing research for my own Bond project, and here's just one option, Dr. Mad Thrust line of electronic RC add-ons:

Dr Mad Thrust Machine Gun Effect LED Unit, $3.39
SKU: 9107000181

Dr Mad Thrust Machine Gun Effect Sound Unit w/Speaker, $8.51
SKU: 9107000190

Dr. Mad Thrust series 5A HV BEC with Inbuilt Aux Controlled On/Off Switch for Accs, $15.46
SKU: 107000171

I don't know if the prices are current, but a few RC online stores sell them, including Ebay.
