Lestat: All I need to find you, Louis, is follow the corpses of rats...

Very nice figure.
Honestly, the main reason I got the exclusive version cause I just wanted to display the ponytailed head with the black suit.
I thought that if I was set on it, I can sell the long hair with the fullset clothing.
But now I think I like the regular set with the long hair better.
Was a pain fixing his hair though, I used hair wax to fix the hair.

I like it. I'm glad I caved and got the figure.

Finally got Louis delivered, out if the box, put together, futzed.
I trimmed the hair and styled it using hair wax. Overall I'm REALLY happy with this set. And for $200 shipped for TWO full figures, it's a steal. I wasn't impressed with Figure Masters shipping however. I've had quicker free international shipping with TNS. So paying $40 for shipping I expected better but whatever he's here now!

The outfits are both superb on this set..I'm actually more impressed with the black suit. It's custom tailored to this body. So well done! I'm glad I went with this Add on set.

I'm going to look at repainted his eyes and give him a paler complexion. If I had a negative with this set it would be I think he's not "vampiric" enough. So I'll have to remedy that. Hopefully they make Lestat more Vampiric in look.20190313_132725.jpeg20190313_132823.jpeg20190313_143053.jpeg20190313_143139.jpeg

Thanks Rzeznikk.
And likewise, love your display. Specially with the angel in the cemetery scene display. Looks awesome man.

And I agree, the black suit is impressive. Great tailoring.

Nice job on the hair Remy, and great pics Rzeznikk! I got mine a couple days ago and was pretty impressed with the set as well. Although I have to say I really prefer the head with sculped hair, as the overall likeness just feels a lot stronger somehow (even though it's clearly the same sculpt). And I think I would have rather just have two of those instead.

It was also weird to me that the 18th century figure was a lot taller than the black suited one, so I switched out the legs with some shorter ones I had from another COO body. So they're now the same height.

Mine has been stuck in Fremont California for a few days now and the tracking reads that it’s in the hands of some shipping partner who haven’t given it over to Usps yet.

I contacted FM because usps said it should be in transit to them soon and that they can’t help me until it’s in their hands. :(

Thanks. I like both sculpts but I agree the sculpted haired head does give off a better likeness.

Mine was stuck there for a few days then traveled all the way to the east coast then back to the mid west before finally getting delivered today.

The tracking on this figure is definitely off. Normally, even though usps tracking is not as nice as ups or fedex, at least I have a better understanding of the figure's status.
This one, it seemed like its on limbo, then a week later, it told me its in california, but the date was last week.
Then yesterday, lo and behold, its delivered.

Just dont worry about the tracking and Dont be surprise to get the figure suddenly pop in your doorstep. lol.

Yeah I've noticed that with a lot of stuff I order from overseas. After it clears customs it seems to go nowhere for days and the tracking never changes, until suddenly it just shows up at my door out of the blue.

A few pics of my black suited version after repainting the eyes, making the skin a bit paler, and reddening the lips. I also added the gold chain that he had in the movie. Haven't done any work on the regular figure yet, but I can't deny I'm loving this look a whole lot more.

What kind of paint did you use? Gosh to redo the eyes with such precision you must have a super steady hand; is there a certain technique you use?

And the gold chain; did you just have that lying around? Lol I’d love to find that.

Any pointers??

Gosh the suit really is nice; it really is!

I bought two of the add on sets. This is an amazing figure. I have had nothing but a good experience with Figure Masters too. Good communication; very good.

Kind of a bummer that sideshows communication has dropped since they redesigned their website. Sideshow use to be soooo easy to get ahold of; call waiting wasn’t very long at all and their chat feature was awesome.

Figure Masters is a good trustworthy company. Very excited to see their other projects!

I just use cheap craft paint from Michaels, and the chain came from a necklace I found at Joann's. For the eyes I use some small pointy brushes and wear a magnifying headset so I can see the tiny detail. Can't really think of any other pointers though. :)

Looks much better [emoji106][emoji106]
What did you do to make the skin paler? I was thinking of trying pastels...?

Any suggestions there? Thanks!
