BB King didn't have much in the way of technical prowess, but he could convey an idea with his music as well as anyone. I translated "best" as "favorite."

No such thing as a 'best' imo. Once you reach the level of everyone named in this thread theres pretty much nothing they cant play, so its more a question of who is your favorite.

David Gilmour is probably my fav, or least in the top 3 for me. Stevie Ray Vaughan is right there too.
