this seems like a figure that the leg joint will buck out under the wight of the figure itself... might be wrong but all metal figures i have had in the past ended up that way

I think this is more of the kind of figure that you display within the box.

Very possible, that's why I'm planning on constructing a special stand for mine. A stand that will support the figure under his arms.

Obviously I'll be posting photos when I have it in hand and get the stand sorted.

If he can't stand well, hopefully he'll be able to crouch on the magnetic gargoyle that he comes with. I wonder how much of the listed weight is Batman and how much is the gargoyle.

I'm looking forward to mine and extremely happy he'll have the darker matte finish as opposed to the glossy finish that the Singapore exclusive will have.

Play imaginative has a couple of new pics up on their facebook page, if anyone's interested.

If anyone like the glossy version, it looks like they made 60 available outside of Singapore.

Personally I like the matte look.

He looks cool, and I like the idea of a metal Batman, but I don't really have a taste for the stylized stuff. I'd rather take my chances and see if Sideshow will do a new 52 Batman in the future.

Getting the matte version, but want the limited glossy box. The white box with jim lee scetch looks great!

The playimaginative website has a DC section under their products. Nothing posted, but would be cool if they did the entire Justice League in this style and format..... :)

Some interesting info I found while surfing the web:

For those looking for a companion piece to Play Imaginative's Super Alloy Batman, it looks like they are making a Super Alloy Iron Man as well:

I think the non-die-cast parts don't match up well with the die-cast parts on the glossy version. Anther reason I am glad I am getting the matte one.
