SOUL 魂作 Zhao Yun real vs knockoff

I just want to share a discovery I made about the 1/6 figures from Soul. Apparently there are two different versions of the 1/6 Zhao Yun figure (chinese historical character) released in the market. The authentic one was made from China, while the knockoff version is from Taiwan. I wish I had discovered this sooner as I purchased the knockoff one from a dealer. I can't blame the dealer because I suspect they and many others do not even know about this.

In the link below, you will see pictures to compare between the authentic and the copied versions. The authentic one comes in white box and pictured on the right side. Knockoff version has black box and pictured on the left side. Visually both are similar, the knockoff one has sloppy paint job and armors feel like paper weight. The sword and cape are also different.

That's hard to say because unless the seller is providing pictures of the box. You will never know which one you will receive. But from looking at the pictures on different dealers websites, majority of them in the market are the black box version.
