That is a nice stand. Why can’t anyone in the U.K. make cool things?!

So what’s going on with this guy now? SSC released a few, were shocked when collectors actually noticed that they’d been conned, then halted production to fix some of the issues or just to let the outrage storm pass before trying the same trick again?

He’s slated for a Feb release so hopefully that also applies to my domestic store. Even if he’s a flimsy disaster, he’s the only Grievous around…

Mine recently shipped from Sideshow and will arrive tomorrow. Unfortunately, I’ll be away so I won’t get to check it out for a bit.

I wonder if they made any changes based on all the initial feedback?

Received my Grievous today. Seemed like someone else’s return; won’t nitpick the smaller issues, just three main things that make me say funk dat:

-cape snap wouldn’t hold at all. Just kept popping out
-missing toe/foot on left leg
-I could’ve actually found a way to live with these, but when I turned the “elbow” joint, the plastic holding the pistons just popped apart. Wasn’t over pressing or twisting violently, it just came undone with ease.

The few Sideshow items I’ve purchased, I’ve had zero problems with so I guess I was due. Was really looking forward to adding him to the Clone Wars era shelf, but whaddya gonna do.

hey guys, so from my understanding the fix for the loose arm with replacement of the joint. What are they doing for the double arm?

I received replacement double arms and a new joint from them. Not sure if it’s “upgraded” or not, the original is floppy but still works if patient.

They look very similar. Think they might be the same, like you say. I’ll check and get back.

Awhile back I customized Grievous, I cut the arms at the forearm and repositioned them so they bent with the armor facing out instead of down. Then I adjusted the fins to point in toward the chin, and narrowed the chest plates to cover the organs better. Final pic is the end result when posing.

Tried out a grayish ship deck style for Grievous. I like it.

Also, I made some extras of this and the all black stand. If anybody would like to get one just shoot me a pm.

Been awkwardly silent with this batch release. I guess it means they’re all good, or at least holding up till after the 30 day warranty window’s closed.

Got a second batch off an ebay seller . It does have the new joints and and least on mine the joints are tight and no floppiness , also no fingers or toes are missing.
