Thanks, memphismayfire.

It was tons of work to finally get a Dark Knight figure that I was pleased with, but worth it.
Here's an early look of what it looks like in full Bats mode with a cowl and cape.
This isn't the final cowl I'll be using, but it'll suffice for these pics.

Thanks, Fan!

With the Bat Bunker that you're set to ship soon,
I'm planning to have the motorbike Bruce in there with the tumbler and armory.
Can't wait!

Thanks, memphismayfire.

That is far and away the best Bale Batman of any scale I have seen. Is it possible for you to list what you did?

That is awesome

Thanks Kal-El!

Thanks Dylan!

I unstitched and removed the legs of the suit at the waist and the arms at the shoulder seams.
The fatsuit underneath is also cut off from the waist down and removed.
Only kept the fatsuit padding under the upper body.

custom made the new legs and arms out of black mesh material that best matched
the upper body of the dx12.

using the same steps outlined by Thrustmaster on his "medix 2.0" from a few years back,
I cut the armor parts for the legs and pasted them on the new black mesh leggings.
Half of the armor parts (the ones in front) are from the medicom figure.
The ones on the outer sides of the leg are mostly dx12.
Codpiece and knee armor are from dx02. The two armor pieces on each side of codpiece I made myself
out of spare dx12 pieces.

Boots are from medicom's begins figure. I needed to heat them in boiling water and stretch them out a bit
so they'd fit this figure.

gauntlets are cut from the medicom figure. fists are medicom too.

the new straps that go around his biceps are cut from medicom figure.
I kept the biceps bracer armor from dx12 and glued that over those straps.

belt is from armory set. It needed to lengthened to fit around the new body,
so I added a link near the back.

The shoulder armor plate is separated into two.

cape is Tony Mei's.

Also tried making the shoulder armor more rounded, like in the movie.
I heated them in the microwave for a minute, then quickly
pressed my thumb on the inside to get it rounder before it cooled.

I never take enough pics while working, but here's a few I took during.

I loved that Kenner Batmissile-Batmobile when I was a kid.

I always wanted a 1989 Batwing, but had to settle for the Batman Forever version.

A lot of vehicles there - but I don't see Bruce Wayne's Custom Coupe!

Thanks for posting! This was a huge treat to look at. Major flashbacks for me.

I too missed out on the Kenner Batwing. I wanted it, probably could have had one for Birthday or Christmas. But I was too scatterbrained to really push for it If I remember correctly.

Maybe soon... I am still looking for Kenner Batman Forever Batboat and Batman & Robin Redbird..

Loving the nostalgic trip down memory lane, Razmanshah! Great collection! I grew up playing with that '89 Batwing and that Batman Returns Batmissle Batmobile! So much fun!

I think I've completed the Mattel 66 line.
Great little set of figures. Decided to put up a 66 display to get them all on one, or two shelves: HT Bats had to get in there!!

I really did want their Batmobile. As much as I like my KeatonMobile, that 66 Batmobile looked amazing.
The Mattel one isn't too bad: a bit toyish to be honest, but looks the part .

I'm not satisfied with the lay-out but this will do for now.
Since most of my new figures are DC-related, here's a little update on my collection:
