Repainting black series lightsabers.

Snagged a spare lightsaber to repaint but wasn’t sure what brand would be the best to keep the almost transluscent colour going if possible?

Depends on what you're going for. When I had commissioned some customs by Stronox in 6" scale he would usually repaint the blades to be a solid color with no transluscent color. I'm not sure it would be possible to paint a blue saber to be red without losing the transluscent color if that makes sense.

Ya, that totally makes sense. I got a spare saber in the 3 3/4 scale and looks like its molded in the colour so would be a straight paint over.
