Hey people... I live in Australia and next month I am heading to LA and Hawaii for a holiday and was wondering if any of you out there could suggest any places to find statues/figures, Batman related stuff. good LCS anything you may know of. I will have a car.
All I've booked so far are Lakers tix and WB tour to chk out the Batmobiles.

Any ideas would be great

Thanx!

Since you're going to the WB area, definitely check out Blast from the Past. They're close by in Burbank. You can check their site here for their store address:

They've got a decent amount of collectibles from Hot Toys, Sideshow, Gentle Giant, etc.

If you like roller coasters, go to Magic Mountain. They're about 45 minutes drive north from there. Website is here:

As for Hawaii, it really depends which island you go to.
Oahu has the most resemblance to the mainland as far as shopping and entertainment closely followed by Big Island (Hawaii). Kauii is more secluded and very laid back. This is where you go to leave city life behind. Maui is a mix of both.

Never heard of frank and son... That looks mad. Thanks very much.

Target ok I'll find that any particular one?
Target here is pretty bad for "collectables"

Meltdown Comics on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood.
Good shop, used to have lots of collectables but I haven't been there in a while.

Golden Apple Comics on Melrose in Hollywood.
Comic shop with collectables.

Things From Another World, Universal City.
Lots of collectables with some high end stuff. Have not seen SS stuff there recently.

Blast off Comics, North Hollywood (NOHO).
Nice comic shop with some SS stuff.

Puzzle Zoo in Santa Monica, 3rd St. Promenade.

Griffith Park Observatory. You should check that out.

LOL. LA and Hawaii and you're thinking about toys...

Ha I know right, but this is a collectable freaks forum not a travel site

I love visiting the LACMA, but someone who's looking for toys on his vacation probably won't. :D

I appreciate your earlier post on places to visit but I never said I was looking for toys...

the LACMA sounds interesting as I studied Art at school... so you can keep these other posts to yourself... thanks :)
