I've stopped preordering neca stuff from bbts because they're always the absolute last place to get stock.

The last two I had on preorder from there were part 7 jason and kesslerwolf and I was able to find them elsewhere literal months gefore they got their stock in.

They just finally got kesslerwolf in about a week ago.

I did get the Kesslerwolf from BBTS - worth the wait, imo.

Any thoughts on why BBTS is slow? Slower than Dorkside? I figure these companies at the mercy of the toy companies? I figure dealing with Hasbro is prob a nightmare, but no clue on NECA!

(apparently I have questions at 5:55 am lol)

I'm not sure for NECA, but they order so much that for like Hasbro product they get deliveries straight from the ports and don't waste time/money shipping them to Hasbro just to ship them to BBTS later. Shipping is crazy now so they're probably leaning towards the cheaper container options I would bet.

I really wondered about those hips too. I've still got one on pre-order, but that's the one thing that has me going back and forth more than anything else. I know 'real' human beings don't usually have 'heroic' proportions - is it possible Karloff's hips were that wide, or is it a sculptural/manufacturing oversight?

Got him from a local toy shop that I just discovered called Mythical Mountain. They have a ton of Neca stuff and also had the Mummy (which I'll probably be getting from them tomorrow).

They're a bit pricey (paid $40) but I'm tired of waiting for Target and Walmart to get these.

I would say they are slightly too wide for Karloff but it's the torso that is too small. But it looks to be that way to allow the arms/shoulders to be in proportion. Solid plastic arms and torso don't allow for the natural resting position of the human body.

Good analysis. (And I definitely trust your eye.) Thanks, man!
