What are some of the most graphically violent and bloody movies you can think of that you've ever seen? The most extreme I've seen (and all of the following is of course counting the uncut version of each film that has one):

Dead-Alive
The Thing (1982)
The Evil Dead
Natural Born Killers
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday
The Blob (1988)
Day Of The Dead (1985)
Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellraiser III: Hell On Earth
The Collector and The Collection
Ichi The Killer
Versus
Riki-Oh: The Story Of Ricky
Return Of The Living Dead III

And The Fly II is deserving of an honorable mention purely for this scene:

look for the disturbing movie thread, you'll find some winners there.

those folks over there would consider that list "soft", IMO.

I love your list Shadow Master! You really listed some great moments from my youth! :rock

I was thinking the same thing. That list is well....average. :lol

Indeed.

You wait till people start recommending the August Underground / Toe Tag Pictures stuff.

Also I see a distinct lack of Troma & anything J Splatter (Tokyo Gore Police / Vampire Girl Vs Frankenstein Girl / Machine Girl etc.) on that list.

Tame Tame Tame :rotfl:rotfl

I watch just one of those movies in that list, I won't be able to sleep for weeks.

Shadow Master would have nightmares for decades from the movies named in the disturbing movie thread lol.

I'll be sure to track those down, there's numerous other movies I've wanted to see such as Martyrs, Cannibal Holocaust, etc. I've seen the first August Underground and have wanted to see the sequels forever. The first one was quite disturbing but not as graphic as I expected.

I forgot to include Audition, which might be deserving of a mention purely for the torture scene.

check out his reviews 1-6. its fun and entertaining.

Martyrs, Cannibal Holocaust

I liked Martyrs and have seen that twice, I have the Blu-Ray. But I didn't like Cannibal Holocaust and don't think I could watch that again... the fully uncut version.

Another one to check out is the full uncut version of A Serbian Film with David Spade... I mean Srdjan Todorovic! :lol

I think you can watch the whole film on youtube (A Serbian Film). I thought the newborn sequence was going too far. Other than that a decent horror movie.

I remember being surprised at how violent Wind Talkers was, particularly for a war movie, instead of a horror flick.

The last Rambo flick has to be the most violent film I have ever seen

ROFFLE! Seriously....? Hey, give Braveheart a spin. That is by a large margin the bloodiest, most violent big studio release I have ever seen.

Other violent/bloody films:

*Hostel

*Carpenter's The Thing, 1982 version.
