Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Even a camera pic can't make this figure look bad. It's ungodly how awesome Supes is.

Thanks for posting that.

Still looks crooked though. :monkey3

:lurking

Right, where do you live? I'm comin round to to show you whats straight.
:thwak:lol

But seriously guys, it moves around. If you want to be super ____ about it, it's an easy fix. You will understand when you get it in hand. The fabric is very light and stretchy like Spideys. You can pull it and push it as well as the neck. It's already stretched over the musculature so thats why some of them in pics look off. It's not a fault, just rather lazy futzing.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Man Rory, I've got to give you mad props. I wouldn't have taken a pic to show that the "S" symbol wasn't crooked. I'd let these people fester in their own superstition and obsession compulsion. Maybe they'd worry themselves into a coma.

I hope that the scrutinizing, over-analyzing _____es in this thread actually have QC issues since they seem to find an aesthetic problem in nearly every pic that is posted. Then we'll actually see some REAL issues.

*knocks on wood so my figure doesn't come with issues after stating the above*

:lol aah, it's all good man. I never take any of this seriously. This figure is so good I felt as if I need to defend it!

Everyone should head over to the Indy thread if they want to see real problems!

:lol

Fabio supes to come with Indy head :lecture

:rotfl

can you imagine? Opening the big blue and red box to see that thing looking back at you! Although in fairness some of the latest pics look a bit better, compared to this though it's amature-ish.

"Oh my god, the symbol is crooked!"

"The symbol placement is a millimeter off, replacement time!"

"Screw the inaccurate symbol, I'm replacing it completely with a rad iron on!"

"The hand pegs are showing, the hand pegs are showing! Pull dem sleeves down!"

Uh oh, you've done it now. :nono

I really don't see what the big deal is. Everyone :panic::panic::panic: for nothing. Then when actual issues arrive with photographic evidence (ala, most of the Hot Toys Batman figure) people downplay it as "nothing" because it hasn't happened to them. Almost like they feel it's an isolated incident or the collectors with problems don't know how to handle their figures.

Now I could see if someone posted pics of their Hot Toys Superman displayed on a pissed stained toilet seat with the collar hanging down below the ab joint and the sleeves rolled up to the shoulders but that fortunately hasn't happened yet.

If it's a little off it's because of the pose he is in is stretching the suit that way.
