For the record, I simply did this as a foolproof.
Exclusive news about Limtoys' 1/6th scale THE LAST OF US:
1. Magnetic exchangeable hands
2. Bite mark on Elly's forearm
And there will be Elly from THE LAST OF US PARTⅡ
Thank you so much for finding and delivering us this news! And another thank you to everyone else gathering info off the Lim Group page, 'cause I, myself have requested membership a bit ago and still have been unable to get it yet to see anything. Very appreciated! 😊

Let’s see if @R_R_X confirm this information, especially Ellie from part II🙏🏻

Their movable eyes will be made in the same factory with HOTTOYS or INART, so hopefully it will be faster, at let they believed so.

I'd love a decent part 2 Ellie. The other options around just don't look great at the mo (besides prime 1 but that's too big and expensive for me)
The mttoys headsculpt is great. But the clothing is very underwhelming. Cctoys has great clothing but I didnt like the headsculpt at all.

I fused the two together and you get a really nice figure. Lim’s will no doubt be superior but I’m pretty happy with my Ellie as is.

R_R_X has said multiple times LIM is now using the same factory as Hot Toys and Damtoys. I didn’t realize InArt had work done there too. That’s a busy place.
Yea, must be! He also mentioned that both InArt and HT are sharing the same factory/facility/workforce for the hair rooting as well. So, there's definitely a lot of overlap going on between multiple companies for sure.

Edit: I misunderstood, this is what RRX said…
“I said the factory InArt is using for hair rooting is accessible to other brands and could be easily contracted by Hot Toys but I don't know if HT will be using it for their Artisan line”

1. False, Part 1 figures will have regular hand pegs and magnetic arms for Joel.
2. True
Also true but not any time soon.

Hot Toys has their work spread through multiple factories including their main one which is where they do most of production. DamToys has all their production done at one other factory that is open to other brands including InArt.

These heads are awesome! Is Mark Simpson the one who made or painted them? I may wanna get some!
He painted them. I didnt have a good experience with the person who printed them so don’t wanna recommend them to anyone. Also don’t wanna throw them under the bus as I still have ongoing business with them. It’s complicated. I ordered a bunch of sculpts from them and they were all bad prints with printer lines and marks. I don’t know who the original artist is.

I too am hoping for some updates. I used to check the Limtoys threads a few times a day, now I go a while without checking the video game session. Not the same without all the great insight.

The problem with only having few big factories for this industry means the hobby will be facing a bottleneck at factory levels due to lack of competition among factories and companies are held hostage by factories in terms of quality, quantities, schedule and of course pricing. Anything going on China everything gets disrupted.

At the end of the day these factories might as well release their own product like what chip factories are doing and run the big brands out of business.
