Ikea Granas Coffee Table become awesome Display Case

Do they still sell that granas table? I did a search and they have 2 other tables, but not the smaller coffee table that you have. That looks BRILLIANT!

yeah coffee table has been discontinued 4-6yrs ago? Yeah search on your local section of CL or KJ but remember to search for more generic terms e.g. Ikea Glass top coffee table cause most won't remember it was called Granas and wouldn't care to look it up And make sure to ask for condition of the glass, looking specifically for deep scratches to save yourself a trip or many

So I finally finished the case after sitting on it for 11 months. I currently have the Granas case elevated on Expedit cube shelves. They are bracketed together so they wont move much. Also I added gripper pads at the bottom of Granas leg pegs so it wont slide off the cubes easily.

It's a lot smaller than the Granas. I also have that coffee table and side table at home.

Test fit on the painted trim. That paint doesn't want to stick the aluminum.
I'm also going to have to switch out the bolts to flatheads to make them flush fit.
