COme on guys, it might not be 100% bridges, YET!, You know HT reworks its sculpts before the releases.

Of course but what if it's still not 100% when they're done? It's a lot of money for a figure that they may improve upon few months later.

I like the effort, but the sculpt just doesn't capture the character. Also I am not sure I like the idea of matching identity discs depending on outfit. I hope that there are no matching wardrobe identity discs in the film......yikes!

How do you know it's not the same disc...
maybe it changes colors... who knows?!

It looks like a perfect human sculpt, but certainly not like Bridges

To me, it's only boring because the likeness isn't there. If it was dead on, boring it would not be. TOTALLY COOL it would be.

exactly. if the figure is this simple, with no distinctive features and practically zero accessories, then the head sculpt is the main selling point. it has to be done accurate or it makes for a boring figure. aldo raine and godfather are great figures precisely because of that.

btw, who is this jeon young tae? that's 2 tron headsculpts that he/she's done so far, and both are done poorly. ht should get someone else for quorra.

you guys in the US are lucky that way. here in asia once you pre-ordered you cannot cancel. after the pics and specs are shown, you only have about 2-3 weeks to decide to buy or not, then it's a done deal.

I could be wrong but I think he's one of their head sculptors. I think he did the T-1000 which was pretty fantastic. Perhaps these will be tweaked further before "showtime". Hopefully.

ok i just checked. you're right, he did the t-1000 sculpt, which was less than accurate when the proto was shown, but turned out great in the end. we shall see if that can be replicated for tron.

on the flip side though, we get our ht slightly cheaper and we get them earlier.

Have you seen a preview of the film? Just curious because how would one know that the figure doesnt capture the charatcer of the film if you havent seen it yet? IMHO you cant really know what the character of a film is like based on just still shots of an unreleased film or previews. I dont mean to be an ass, just wondering if youve seen it.

kind of a blah figure, tbh. and the jeff bridges sculpt is definitely off. i showed just the headshot (minus the tron logo) to a few people in the office, many of whom are avid moviegoers, and none of them identified it as jeff bridges in tron. i got: kris kristopherson, charlton heston in the 10 commandments, bearded gene hackman, and one "i hope that's not supposed to be jeff bridges".

the costumes are well-made though. and i like the base. too bad the light disc doesn't actually light up.

I think he kinda looks like Todd Lowe from True Blood.

Maybe it's the jaw.

With something so small I don't think it's possible to make the light disc light up by itself


If you compare the photos between the sculpt and Jeff Bridges, they do have quite a bit right---but I think they made his jaw too big

Just saw the film. That sculpt is so not how Jeff Bridges looks in the film. Those two costumes are all you'll need though.

The ESSENTIAL Tron Legacy HT line, for me would be:

-Sam Flynn
-Kevin Flynn
-Quorra
-Clu
-Rinzler


You'd want at MINIMUM those guys.

Redo the head. Bridges looks more haggard than that. Loosen up the hair and I'll get him and Clu.

Just saw the film. That sculpt is so not how Jeff Bridges looks in the film. Those two costumes are all you'll need though.

You'd want at MINIMUM those guys.

That sounds like a good list! Especially the first 3!!
