Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: Iron Man MK VII

Why do people keep on using the Mk IV proto in bashing it :lol
final product looks much better..just saying :dunno

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: Iron Man MK VII

Seeing all of them next to each other really allows me to appreciate the new head sculpt.

So much more expression and detail, and it seems to have more depth(if that makes any sense). None of them are an exact match but if Hot Toys were to adjust the eyes and the hair of this new one it would be near perfect!

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: Iron Man MK VII

I think the MK4 is pretty great. In the pic here, not so much. On my shelf, yes. Well, atleast we have several to choose from lol. I've learned to never base it off pics...especially proto pics.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: Iron Man MK VII

Mark IV without the glasses is laughable.

Pretty much. I have it and it looks spot on with the glasses. Not so much without.

I actually think I might sell my Mark IV and VI and make this my definitive Iron Man.

It's truly awesome with the glasses on, especially since the shape of the face is extremely close to that of RDJ.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: Iron Man MK VII

Are there pics of the innerframe under the swappable chest piece?

I'd like to see that.

And no hip flares on this Mark, eh?

I'm also surprised that the headsculpt isn't helmeted, to recreate Stark's appearance in the finale after Thor rips off his mask.

The neck still looks a little tall, but waaay better than the SDCC pics.

Mark IV without the glasses is laughable.

It's laughable we've become so spoiled with photorealistic headsculpts that the Mark 4 looks weak! :lol

Look at the headsculpts from three years ago with the Marks 1 and 3. . .:horror

Silly people, claiming this will be their 'definitive' Iron Man.

Until the next one...

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: Iron Man MK VII

I see a little Jeff Goldblum in that portrait. But the suit looks killer.

Oh you think the same as me.:hi5:

When i saw this pic, his face showed up suddenly !!! :exactly:

it certainly looks better here...I hope it isn't cream in colour but shiny gold

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: Iron Man MK VII

Rumor has it it is supposedly the mark 42. Looks modular like a replacement for the mark 5.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: Iron Man MK VII

Look at the other Iron Man suits in that picture, the color looks awful on them too.
