Took some more pics of my Mk 7 with all weapons out and with the BD Mk 7 head. :)

Anyone notice the grey part there under the collar? It bothers me of how hasbro-ish toyish and fake it looks. Is this accurate? I was thinking of painting a bit of black wash to give it definition. I know I'm nitpicking.., lol

I agree it could look better. I dont notice as much since mine sits so far away.

The pose I currently have my Mark VII in. Looks a lot better from far away on the Detolf

Sweeeet, just an fyi,I left my MK4 in that pose for a month and the stand left two little indentions in his "underwear" from the stand. The plastic "underwear" are soft and will sink into the stand some with all the weight of the figure. Sucks cause I love flying poses like that one.

Awesome poses and photos. 1 & 2 are amazing, look like something straight from the movie. I will be stealing a couple of those for my own display!

+1

As I have always felt, PI is more proportionate / accurate than HT.

I have been thinking about doing this since I painted up a MKII AU empty helmet for the MKVII a few weeks back.
I took an armour test Tony head sculpt and dremelled most of it away so it would fit in an empty MKII helmet.
I'll take pics of it on the MKVII when I get home.
For now, there *is* a cheaper alternative to the BDMKVII open face headsculpt.

Looks good Barry.

I saw somebody on OSR who did that but removed the guts from the light up Mark VII helmet. The result was phenomenal.

I'll post if I can find it.

Ahhh. Cool idea.
I have spares of those heads, but I need them to update the MKIV and MKVI when I get my new visors.
I might give it a try if I can pick up another one.

Great work Barry, looks excellent! :clap

Thanks guys!
A couple of images of it on the MKVII below. I quite like the look of it, although it can't turn a lot(Due to the neck being fixed).

It also looks GREAT on the MKVI, due to the better sculpt in there(Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?)

Do you sell them?

I haven't done one till today. But if someone wanted one, i am sure i could do it.
The parts are pricey though. The cheapest i have seen the head is $70. Then the IM helmet needs bought, plus the work. It took me about an hour and a half to do this one.
