Yes, unfortunately the standard figure has the overbite - the faceplate is too thick and positioned too low.

I fixed mine by taking the faceplate off and carving back the inner surfaces and reshaping the pegs to reposition it. Check my pics over the last few pages, I think it looks tons better and truer to the movie prop.

Installed some new LED light strips in my cabinet. Really brings Phasma to life with direct light source reflections. SHINY.

Nice work, Joeyrainbow! Not brave enough to pop her apart, although the knee pads keep falling off.
Catch her in the right lighting and she looks decent enough with no mods.

She does add a distinctive look to a display.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm looking at acquiring a captain phasma figure, and was wondering if she contains a fat suit similar to that of the FO stormtroopers? I saw on YouTube, someone removing the fat suit from the FO stormtrooper, allowing for better articulation and poses and wondered if the same process could be done for her? thx.

Sold my Phasma today so took a last photo in the sun. Still an mega character design but such a non event character for me. Anyone still displaying theirs?

Yeah still displaying mine, but it's definitely one of those ST figures I could easily live without.

I thought for a second this thread was bumped because the figure was going to be part of the dark side rereleases. Sold this a long time ago, cool looking figure but they really wasted the character.

I’d sell mine if I could get more than 6 dollars for it. Purchased on the hopes and dreams that she (and the entire sequel trilogy) would amount to something halfway decent.

I hope that she comes back in some Disney series and doesn’t suck so someone will buy my figure haha

Even as someone who mostly enjoyed the ST, I find myself losing interest in the figures quickly. As I just feel no emotional connection to the characters whatsoever now.

Have a feeling they'll be mostly boxed back up in a couple years.

They thought she would be the new Boba Fett. Done nothing, look cool. Well, not enough this time.
