I've always been a proponent of the stock sculpt.
People are selling JNIX because they can get $250+ for it.
Not sure why.
Personally, I don't think a definitive Han Solo sculpt has been done yet. Nor Luke, nor Ben (Trevor's SS sculpt is closest but requires a good repaint).
Of the key (4) human likenesses of the heroes from Star Wars ANH, HT has only gotten 1 right out of 4 -- their first Leia.
Not sure why.

Yeah, agreed. The new head sculpt looks way closer to Ford, likeness-wise - it's a dorky expression. Like the original, but wished they nailed it

Then of course HT gives us a brilliant headsculpt for Leia and totally drops the ball on the entire outfit.

I have to admit that the Jnix sculpt saved my HT ANH Solo figure. In my opinion, it was as equal a jump in quality as the HT sculpt was from the SS sculpt...
The original HT sculpt looks good at certain angles, in certain lighting. The Jnix sculpt just captures Ford's Solo regardless of how displayed. I think it's an "in-hand" thing, most likely.

Yeah, I recently bought the RS Props Snowtrooper helmet and now I’d like to get a couple other helmets (X-Wing Luke and TIE Pilot).

If it wasn't for the JNIX sculpt I never would have purchased the original Han Solo figure, I absolutely hate the stock head sculpt, looks nothing like Ford to me (they nailed old Han though)
As such, it is entirely JNIX's fault that I went down the rabbit hole on Star Wars figures. I was able to resist for exactly as long as there wasn't a Han Solo figure that properly captured the character and has a great likeness. But once I was able to piece together exactly that, down that rabbit hole I went...hard.

Han Solo is my Star Wars drug of choice, I'd happily buy any and every version that Hot Toys got right. Bespin, Hoth, Endor, all except the upcoming 'young Han'. But even if Hot Toys never did another version justice, I've got a customised smuggler Han and an old Han that I'm very happy with already, so anything beyond that is gravy anyway.

Agreed! I’d be tempted to get a young Han figure and do a head swap.

Agreed. If Hot Toys does a Bespin Han, which I’m sure they will, it will be on my shelf. As well as Endor, carbon freezing chamber, and carbonite block.
Can’t say the same for young Han or any figure from the Solo movie. Fighting my urge to get Lando because I really need HT to make an Empire Lando. And a Skiff Guard Lando, and a General Lando, and a smuggler outfit Lando from the end of Empire.
