This is more what I meant, like a spandex. My use of the brand name made it confusing

Looks like a Tommie Copper compression vest. I don't think they had those in the 60s, though... .

They wore the wetsuit underneath so they didn't freeze to death, also for when they submerged into water or it rained.

Sort of like an early version of the sneaking suit that Solid wears in the later games, only that was a stand alone and didn't require the use of outerwear. Except for the vest for MGS1. Which was designed to stop hypothermia from the harsh Alaskan environment

I always assumed the wetsuit was for temperatures and for dampness. Going through the 'gater water would be benefitted by the wetsuit.

The clothes look good, but you might want to change the headsculpt if you're bashing a TPP figure. Loose the shield as well.

Since this thread was bumped, I'd just like to say it would be nice if someone would customize the suit to look like it did in the game. A lot about the figure is way off, even something as basic as the color scheme.

Plus, the rubber suit is not tailored well at all. It's pretty bulgy and awkward looking.

Yeah i loved that suit in MGS3 and was excited for the HotToys when the announced, its ashame they changed the design for the worst when MGS3D released
