Love the reflection of the sun on the chest in this shot. :rock

Great pics, man.
Love the reflections.
:clap
Going to get mine in about 2 weeks.

Thanks guys!!! :duff :hi5:

And these pics don't even do him justice IMO! :lol
The paintjob is so extremely well done, it's almost like the paintjob of a new car. You can actually see your own reflection in it in the right light! Because of this the figure looks very realistic next to other (regular clothed) figures. It doesn't look plastic at all IMO.

One word to capture the design of the M4 is "streamlined" There are no gaps between the ball joints of the thighs and the waist. No gaps between torso and chest and no gaps between the shoulder plate and the deltoid armor plates, that tends to cut the figure up visually.

:lecture Very well put!

Hey hey!!!!
So I got the chance to fool around with some shots.
Here it is with my Iron Man Mk. IV that I picked up today from CSC.

Yeah Baby you're right, holy bad ass photos :rock

Awesome job dude, they all look awesome :clap

The IV looks so much better than the III :horror

Mark 1 still looks bad ass!

Mech Test not to shabby either!

But IV wins over them all with Mark 1 followed closely behind then WM in 3rd place :clap

I think the Mk III looks hideous looking at it straight on... I only angle him at quarter profiles.

Thank you Thank you !!!!
: )
Now I am counting down the days and months and weeks for Mk. VI and Mk. V
Ooooooooh long wait man ! hahahahahahaha....

If ours shipped today or tomorrow, me thinks you should change your name to "Happy Old Jim" :rock

Just for this occasion of course, you can go back to being Mad next week :lol

:lol Yeah, I'll be very very happy when the Mark IV arrives! I didn't get a delivery notice from CSC yesterday, and since they're across the country for me I'm not expecting it til probably next week. I've cut back considerably this past year (bad job situation that just got worse), so this one is one of the very few I'll probably get this year.

I skipped the Mark III (both versions) but I have the Marks I and II so this will make it a complete set for me! I never really liked the triangle reactor (I'm way old school Iron Man), so I like having a nice representation of the evolution: the Mark I cobbled together look, the Mark II prototype in the beautiful stainless steel monochromatic and rivetted look, and finally a red and gold version with the round reactor.

Can't wait!

I got mine yesterday morning from Sideshow, unfortunately after carefully opening the airbreak panel on the left leg with the tool provided the damn hinge broke. The circular hinge was so thin, it was bound to break sooner or later. Out of curiosity, would SSC do exchanges for an issue like this. It can go either or since on one hand the plastic was very flimsy but it could be argued that I was the one who broke it. Anyone encounter situations like this before? How flexible is thier returns/exchange program and how long does it take. The dumb part is that Im like 12-20 minutes away from them but i get the feeling that Ill have to ship and have the replacement reshipped back with a wait time of days. argggh.

This is one of the things that bugged me about the Mk.III BD. Looking at the atrocious gap between the chest armor and shoulder plate is just painful.:crying
Because of that, I avoid posing the Mk.III in positions that make it obvious such as straight forward or with both arms down by the sides.

It's good to see HT is improving the mechanics and aesthetics of the articulated joints with each Armor.

Yeah baby !
Very cool line-up.
One thing I wish I had was a diorama or a case that would house each Amor in a chamber next to each other. That way you could display Mk.I, II, III, and IV just like in the movie.

Thank you for sharing those pics. :rock

Yeah, you should be able to send it back and if they have any extras you should be able to change it out.

That is a nice group shot. Looking forward to having that setup on Thursday. Mine would look a bit different though as I have both Mark III and the Gunmetal Grey.

Yes, the Mark IV looks pretty damn amazing but I think if you look at the Mark III both versions at how cool it still looks and the changes HT has been able to make its crazy.

As of right now, they are not showing "Pre-sold Out" so he should be able to, although I know what he's talking about having to ship it and have it shipped back. That waiting time is terrible and only exacerbated by the fact that he lives soooo close to them. :(

Now that would make for a nice family photo. Please share those pics.:grouphug

I'm happy to see that HT is not content with their current techniques and continue to improve their designs, especially in the articulations department. Think about it...the Mk.IV shoulder/waist/hip joints look a lot cleaner (less noticeable gaps) and yet it is also more flexible and poseable than the Mk.III.:clap

i dont see why you couldnt cut down on the shipping time and cost by simply bringing it in yourself, in a box addressed to the same place they tell you to ship it to. they wont deny it JUST because it isnt postmarked, should be fine, and you could get it there right away, just drop it off like the postman would.

good luck with your fix!
