Speeder is a lot less iconic then say Emperors throne. Passed on that and easy pass on this, getting the regular version. Maybe if they were not so extremely overpriced. 1:6 throne for 1:1 price and whatnot.

You can bring up the 1:1 to 1:6 price comparison with almost everything in this hobby and it'll never jive.

Wouldn't say I hate TPM. Has much unrealized promise (great cast +/- a few, a great villain, and some great moments). While Maul remains the imprint of evil for the collective memory of the PT, his bike doesn't really register as having much import.

Fair point, but the whole set costs $400+ without shipping/tax. Unless you're filthy rich, that kind of commitment spent on these plastic dolly requires extremely tight affection with the film/character...you know just food for thought.

True. Just try to buy an accurate 1:1 replica of Emperor's throne for around 100 bucks. Not happening. You can't compare a real life yard chair to a collectible.

They should be up this week..a lot of the Asian reviewers were at the Conventions like Wonderfest last week . Give it time, I’m sure there will be many Asian reviews this week

Also, Justin usually gets his figure by the end of 1st week and release the review. I believe we're close to a video review.

Looks awesome, and I'm sure the HT will be the better overall figure of course. But still find myself more drawn to the SSC headsculpt. I think the SSC just has a lot more intensity in the sculpt for whatever reason from what I'm seeing.

Even though the body and clothes will be miles better on the HT, Maul is pretty much all about the head/face for me, so as it stands I'm still sticking with my over-priced and under-accessorized SSC figure.


Maybe my opinion will change on this as more pics surface?

The Lo Chung pics look fantastic but I'm not getting the Ray Park vibe out of any of them. The sculpt looks great but to me, just not capturing RP.

Like a chubby cosplayer trying to look hard, lol.
I’m sure it will pass muster for people who want it.
But it doesn’t look anything like Maul as portrayed by Ray park.
Thats not me trying to offend anyone. Just my own opinion.

I am going to wait for real in hand pics and reviews before I panic, but yeah, not Ray Park. He looks like old maul. No panic yet (hastily looks up ss v2 prices on eBay).
