So finally had a chance to take a few pics, sorry for delay, heavy work for a few days... I will take some properly futzed ones at the weekend. Now firstly I have to say, I don't have any real love for Nolan's Bane as a character (but I love Hardy), with that in mind, many will be surprised to hear me say that I think is this one of my favorite Hot Toy releases in a long long time. It's just fantastically detailed in hand. Soft vinyl head sculpt? Nope! we are back to highly detailed and textured work. Maybe all the moaning changed something with HT, maybe not. Anyway, If I was to score this figure straight out of the box, I'd give it a 9. Especially with the coat on to hide any body proportion issues. Sure it's gonna look brilliant weathered to hell, but stock it's damn impressive.


LOVE IT.

Same here. I didn't like TDKR at all, but I dug Bane from a comedic standpoint, which the various spoofs and overdubs have simply reinforced.

I need Bane, simply because he amuses me, greatly.

I need Bane, simply because he amuses me, greatly.

This figure is going to blow everyone away. And no, I haven't hit the whiskey.

All the pics we have seen have been tucked underneath the vest and have not been as baggy as I think we all are Hoping for.

I know many have suggested that there doesn't appear to be enough room under the mask for Hardy's nose, and I did initially agree, but the more photos I see, the less I'm concerned:

The mask could stand to be a little farther out but honestly, I'm really liking this portrait as is.

Not as bad as they seem, there is some give in them, but not enough.
They look ok futzed out a bit. Not as good as Elvis's pants, but pretty cool.

I still think its a great figure and will hold up and fit in with the other newer DK/R figures. Glad I was able to find a pair of pants thanks to Seb.

Now the wait until March.

the vest thing has me thinking i want to get an alternate body for alternate looks (like the opening sequence). i like him without the vest as well as with it, but i don't think i want to be messing with it that much.
