I can’t stand the way the shoulders work stock idk why they didn’t make them more accurate it would have been easy. I was able to reattach mine with elastic and it looks just like the game now.
I was actually just thinking about this, how easy of a mod is this?

Anybody can share how they fixed the shoulder pads? Looking at it it's obvious HT assembled it completely wrong and they should lay closer to the chest without those straps being visible.

I posed mine with his arms out somewhat which makes the position of the pads look more natural.

Oaty talked about doing a video to show how he nodded the shoulders, but I believe he sold that figure before he got around to it.

I think it was a semi-destructive mod, requiring something to be snipped (possibly just an elastic).

Yeah the pads seems to be tabbed into something and I suspect it's a non-reversible mod.

I did posed him the way you mentioned but after awhile you kinda know how stupid it looks-- the appeal of the suit is partly due to how the armor clicks next to each other and with those shoulder pads being so further away it just ruins the look.

I also don't like how shiny the armor is (in the game it's nowhere near as glossy) so I might do a matte mod the same way I did for Batgirl.

Yeah, I agree about the shoulders. I'd have to play the game again, but the shiny plates seem about right to me--however, the shiny undersuit (i.e. arms and legs) are definitely wrong.

Resurrecting a dead thread, but after months of searching I finally found a second figure that I can use to mod. As a huge fan of the suit, HT did a massive disservice with having the totally wrong suit colors, overly tan skin tones, wrong colors the gauntlets, boots, belt and cowl and an obnoxious shine that makes the figure unappealing to look at, I plan to remedy all that since I think a full on repaint should fix all the issues.

I might end up filming it as well since I think this figure deserves better and (to date) I'm the only person who'd ever done a full on repaint of the also godawful Batgirl figure.

Please do film it. I'd like to see the mod process. Always interesting to see improvements people can make to these figures
