This looks great, but I kind of wish they had waited for part 2 to do the stillsuit just in terms of potential accessories and details- A scabbard for the crysknife, maker hooks, blue eyes, etc.

Brilliant work, really. It looks amazing. 31cm seems to be pretty tall… even assuming they’re including the head in that measurement.
31cm tranlates to just over 6'1" in reality.

I always figured that's how tall Chalamet is due to his wirey appearance, and the fact he looks considerably taller than Gurney in the movie, but turns out he's actually 5'10" so yeah, the figure is giving the figure more of a leading man height boost. Maybe that's how tall the character of Paul is in the books so it's fine. The Dunc figure will have to be 32cm miniumum to accurately portray Momoa's height and capture the on-screen size difference between Paul and he.

Despite not being blown away by the movie, everything about the Still Suit look screams 'I'm a cool toy' so I'm gonna need to do some soul searching.

I know InArt will really tempt me with rooted hair. If it weren't for them, I'd be touting AugToys as the closest competition to Hot Toy's in terms of quality.

Aug Toys Dune Paul Atreides 1:6 Scale Collectible Figure in Distillation Suit
Created jointly by Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures, directed by the new godfather of science fiction film Denis Villeneuve (director of Arrival and Blade Runner 2049), here comes the legendary Hollywood science fiction blockbuster Dune series. Based on Frank Herbert's famous science fiction novel, the film stars Timothy Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Zendaya, Chang Chen, Jason Momoah, and Javier Bardem.

In the wake of Arrival and Blade Runner 2049, Denis Villeneuve is once again taking the science fiction imagination to the next level. This film series Dune is not only the intense scenes of action and adventure, but also the detailed expression of romantic poetry and the inner transformation of characters, perfectly balancing the commercial temperament and artistic level. In Dune, in addition to the fiery battle scenes, there are also many foretold dreams of the main character Paul, which gives Paul deeper meaning and legendary color when he is faced with life choices. Duke Paul Atreides joined the Freman and began to become their spiritual leader and train the army. Paul, meanwhile, tried to stop the terrible but inevitable future he has witnessed: the crusade in his name, spreading across the known universe.

Product Features of Aug Toys Dune Paul Atreides 1:6 Scale Collectible Figure in Distillation Suit:
Based on the shape and proportion of Paul Atreides in Dune, AUG TOYS created a plain body of 31cm tall with more than 30 movable joints, perfectly restoring Paul's body shape. The face of the actor Timothee Chalamet is depicted with gloomy temperament in a subtle sculpting, and Paul, dressed in a distillation suit made by the Freman, is of great charm. The costume made him look stronger with visual impact, and the chiseled armor on his body seemed to pledge that the man was a trusted leader. Seemingly simple on the surface, the distillation suit has a lot of design essence. Its streamlined shape strikes a clever balance between safety and elegance, while its simple and atmospheric appearance encourages Paul's majestic image. The material of the distillation suit feels very real, delicate and unique. In terms of accessories and details, the AUGTOYS team has added many highlights to the outfit, making it more vivid, natural and charming. The design of Paul's glamorous costume not only makes Paul look stronger and more dignified, but also fully demonstrates the high simulation, realistic and high quality of the costume, which can satisfy the diverse needs of collectors and toy lovers.

I'm not even overly INTO the Dune series and I find this figure pretty tempting.... cool design, cool character and great figure prototype... yep, pretty damn tempting.

would’ve loved if the backpack opened and had the accessories he uses in the film (no need for a full tent).

Damn now I need another character to go along with him.

Not a fan of the likeness on that Gurney figure so might go for Duke or Duncan.

The still suit is cool but I actually kind of like the other Paul that’s already out. Something about the dress uniform looks cool to me.

Maybe it has already been said here for their first Paul figure, but it is absolutely wild how much they were able to capture Chalamet’s unique facial features.
Zero comments here insisting your photoshopped edits contain essential minute improvements or complaints about how 1mm of lip colour makes or breaks the appearance.
Still personally hesitant about putting an order down knowing InArt’s will still probably find ways to improve (albeit at twice the cost), but the work by this company is extremely commendable!

I'm the same, as I want to see what InArt produces. There's a fair bit of timebto order this.
