You guys may know this, but I saw Wreck-Gar and Perceptor (Universe) at Ross for $7 a piece. I got the Perceptor. I'll probably stick it in a box and eventually donate it to charity.

Decided to moc up a voyager TF Prime Optimus with more show accurate paint job. Dont think it turned out half bad.

been working on my custom leader class DOTM megatron. here are some work in progress photos. this guy is a monster! when he is all done he will be going up on ebay.

Last weekend I was taking pics of stuff to sell on eBay, and packaged up Exgraver as I had decided not to go after Hercules after all. I took the pics, and was loading them onto my computer when I saw his picture and couldn't pull the trigger.

Today, I am seriously contemplating catching up on all the Herc guys after all, even though it will ultimately be $600+.

I've never gone back and forth so much over a collectible (though this feels more toy than collectible I guess). I would pay this much for a great Rainman custom in a second if it were the right character, but these are reasonably mass produced and are just don't feel anywhere near worth the price. But having said all that:

Damn. Apart from the original 3 Seekers, Soundwave/tapes, and Megatron, this is really the only essential Decepticon to my mind. He looks awesome, he has all the different display options, and I doubt very seriously we'll ever get a better version of him as a toy. Tough decision. . .

Sam I am SERIOUSLY digging the TFClub Hercules figures. I am half way there and think this is the best thing going. At a local meet-up a buddy of mine brought 4/6th of NOT Devastator and he is just really awesome. I am not gonna lie, ExGraver isn't the best bot, but that's why he was released first. They keep getting better from there. I think Structor is my favorite so far but Dr. Crank (Hook) is pretty badass too. I highly recommend them. And I don't care how much he cost, he's a Classics Devastator. I can justify this purchase, it's too awesome. :dunno If you really want to save some coin, go through Robot Kingdom. It will take a little bit longer for you to receive them but they're about $10-$12 cheaper (per figure) than American sites.

I just wish I had a money tree. Last week I bought about $1,000 worth of stuff, this morning I spent $100 on Lightning. I've got Terminator PF coming in about a week and gonna get HT Classic Predator when he comes in at BBTS. I can't sell my other ____ fast enough to fund all this!

Few can understand the burdens of the modern, middle class adult geek. The poor and exploited should pity us! At least I have my new wave music and Snuggies to ease the pain.
