Me to. I really try just to stick to ANH. But its hard when there are so many cool figures... I think I have about 5 or 6 figure from the new films, but my son has them. I would love to get my hands on a Tauntaun though.... but my collection is getting to big. I end up getting figures just for one dio, or even a couple of photos!!! Saying that I think I only have about 3 figures not out and on display.....

I just love my dollies!! and every body elses

I know I'll be done for once SS makes a Boba Fett.... I've managed to stay away from the Medi one, just due to price and scale... Plus I can just imagine the urge to swap him over to a slim TT.

Well, considering that Boba was $150 at retail (right?), plus like around $20 shipping (prolly), then a TT body for $30 + $10 shipping, that's $210 (if you're lucky)... Then you have to go through the pain in the @$$ of transferring feet/ hands/ head over, then the suit might not fit right...

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, considering SS would probably make and sell one for $90! :lol

Either you get 1 good Boba now, or you could get 2 good Bobas later and have $$$ left over!

Hate to derail Chaka's thread but I'd bet a SS Boba Fett would retail for 110-120... Kinda like a Sandtrooper.

Picked up a Hasbro Luke X-Wing get up from a boardie... gonna bash nice one! :rock or so I hope....

BTW Chaka, I love your avatar! "No thank you, Turkish; I'm sweet enough."

Nice man, love them pilots!!

Yeah, Bricktop is one of my favorite movie characters ever.

My friends and I quote him to this day....

"Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible c*nt... me."

"if I throw a dog a bone, I don't want to know if it tastes good or not. You stop me again whilst I'm walking, and I'll cut your ?????ing Jacobs off. "

"Goody gumdrops. Get us a cup of tea, would you, Errol?"

"Well, where'd you lose him? He ain't a set of ?????ing car keys, is he? And it ain't as if he's incon-?????ing-spicuous now, is it?"

How cool would a Bricktop figure be?

Here is my Hoth Han :

Right well did a little work on Han Hoth...

Been so impressed with every bodies work.

So what have I done?
Same as most folks I think. First though as always.. body swap. Used a TT narrow shoulder. I Love the TT bods they are just so posable. Also makes him 30 cm tall which is the right height for Han.
Then was the head. I used to not really live the SS Han head, but it really seems to work on Hoth Han.
So I decapitated SS Han, got the dremel out and removed the neck (those thick heavy necks alway restricted them) then bored a hole for the TT neck.

I still have to figure our a good way of attaching it.

Belt. New hole for bucket and undid the leg tie and re-glued it.

Coat. Gave the ruff a bit of a coiffeur
But the sleeves where the main bit I wanted to work on.Hasbro always make the chuffin sleeves to short!

So I removed the cuffs, unpicked the sleeve, and then re-sewed the sleeve so the cuff was a bit narrower. Seems to look ok.

I have some questions though! The hat! how the heck did you get it on Hans big hair?
My guess is you cut the sides off and just used the peak.

The other thing that I need to do is some gloves. I have some but the cuff needs to massive to look right.

Anyway hopes you like... Han just needs his ride now!

Dorgs Han looks soo good. the work on the sleeves really looks nice... i need to get one of these now. the head looks great too.
you might need to dremel hans hair for the hat. i can make you a couple of casts of that han head if you want that way you dont mess the original. might have a few air bubbles etc but can be filled in. lmk if you are intterested.
there is a ww2 german field cap made by Newline miniatures. it's cloth and might fit over hans big hair. the sides fold down to cover the ears and neck like the hoth hat do. would just need to dye it.

Brilliant idea about the military hat! Casting is something I want to get into. Monkeybat has helped me but I just need to find some time to play.

Looks great Dorgs. I had to dremmel the head to get it to fit in the Hasbro hat. I didnt like the looks of the hat, but it doesnt really matter because I have his hood up. The SS Han heads look pretty good under the Hoth gear.

I am curious to see what a military hat would look like. The Hasbro hat is only thing keeping me from doing a Hoth Soldier. The Hasbro version is too toyish looking.

I did the same thing you did with the sleeves. I cut the cuffs off and tightened up the sleeves. I then used a set of Dragon gloves I had left over and painted them white. They were the same gloves I used on my Biker scout. They were originally the yellowish ones somoene posted a link to ages ago.

Now all your Han needs is a Tauntaun!

Ow he so does my friend!! what use is a cowboy without his trusty steed!!
I too want to do a Hoth soldier. Excellent the appear to have a different outfit to Luke. I think the endor trooper back pack will work!
