I was never gonna buy FemPanther, but man does this look very dolly-like. Almost like an oversized Mezco. It has none of that "wow, it's literally a miniaturised human" aura. The head looks too big and the body too brittle. I reckon Manletmor will look cooler if they make him and they don't cheap out on the body. Not that I'm gonna buy him, but just saying.
I'm less bothered by the proportions and more so by the materials/textures used for the suit. Whereas the combination of different patterns/textures on T'Challa's OG suit were striking and accentuated his muscular build, these detract from the overall look. The material pattern on the mask clashes with that of the underlying suit pattern, which IMO needs to be more subtle. It's Black Panther, not Argyle Black Panther lol. And while I love the gold accents there's simply too many of them, and the silver isn't needed at all.

In the wake of King T’Challa’s death, Wakanda is left without a Black Panther, and as world powers clamor to gain access to vibranium, a new enemy breaches Wakanda’s borders.

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will show our beloved heroes band together and fight to protect their nation. To prepare fans for the highly-anticipated release, Hot Toys is delighted to introduce the new Black Panther as the 1/6th scale collectible figure.

The highly-detailed figure is beautifully crafted based on the appearance of Black Panther in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, features an all-new masked head with mystical elements; a newly developed head sculpt and hair sculpture with impressive likeness; highly-poseable body structure; meticulously tailored Panther Habit suit with metallic silver, gold accent; a pair of vibranium gauntlets, a spear, interchangeable hands for fighting poses, and a figure stand.

Gear up with Black Panther figure for battle to protect Wakanda from its enemies!

Finally a M'Baku figure!!

Lower priced figure compared to a lot that we get now days. Pretty bare bones though. Kinda looks cool but I’d probably prefer the new T’Challa figure.

The entire thing looks off to me. From the design itself to the how it's materialised in the form of the figure. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Comic Shuri had a pretty cool design.

This doesn't hold a candle to it. All these MCU costumes go wild with LINESLINESLINESLINES which both clutter the design and make it look like something out of a generic MMORPG. Were I a newbie with no connection to any of these characters, I doubt I'd want to buy 90%+ of these characters.

I assume this is Shuri, pure guess though. As I hated the character in the first movie, she is not for me. If its Okoye, I will reconsider.

Namor is probably the only other figure...but first they have to figure out their seamless problems.
Honestly at this point if they deliver a good sculpt with nice accoutrements, I'll call it a win and find a seamless body elsewhere. He really needs a sweet "emerging from the water" base, though....I really don't want to have to make one of those.

Shuri looks like this though, she has a tweeny kind of body, she’s thin, she kinda has a big head….i think the proportions are very accurate.

I'm just glad we have shuri and wakanda forever , because the actress nearly died herself. 🤷

I don’t know why this is on my mind at 6:30am, but just for comparison’s sake…

The Hot Toys Shuri (2018 movie) is listed at this height, top of the hair included:587C5989-5633-4FFF-B066-CE897E552847.jpeg
…while this new “Black Panther” is listed at this height:D7254B46-8605-4DEC-B98D-1488F00C7BD8.jpeg
Worst kept secrets aside, that should give folks an idea of how this one will scale next to other “Blek Penthas” in the lineage. And FTR, it’s a very busy design, but I do like it *shrugs*.

That’s about right for Letitia Wright (5’5”), but they shoot her character Shuri so she never looks that short compared to everyone else (save for M’Baku). I guess they had to stay consistent with their previous release (assuming it’s her in the suit), but that’s going to make for one diminutive Black Panther lol.

I liked the movie and like this design, the gold and silver makes sense given the character. That said I don't buy full body rubber suit figures, but I'll pursue this figure in other forms

I would day 1 PO an Okoye though, or any Dora

After seeing the movie, I REALLY want an Namor, an M'Baku and an Okoye(she should have got a figure long ago). I could see them making Iron Heart but price would be the deciding factor for me on her. I would LOVE a Nakia but I don't think she's popular enough to get a figure unfortunately.

As for THIS figure, I've ordered it through my local toy guy.👍
