well, yesterday I contacted support (SSC) and was so fast, 3 hrs later I had a mail with the procedure how to send it back.

looks like they will replace the complete figure (the mail says I need to send everything) or do you think they will replace only the cowl? is the first time I deal with that.

The cowl has some scuffs and the headsculpt I don’t really know if it’s to shiny or is normal

I had shared pictures of mine few pages back. I had similar issues. Marks were on the forehead mostly. I have purchased it from eBay distributers and send it back as he agreed with Hot Toys for a fix. Clearly this is a common issue.

I only had an issue with the cowl but they gave me the option of returning the whole figure for a replacement or a refund or just sending a new headsculpt or a $40 sideshow credit.
I took the new headsculpt and they let me keep the old one

I think ul be fine, I got two & I only had an issue with one & it was a really minor mark on the headsculpt but when your paying this much for a figure it should be perfect.
One of the benefits from buyin from sideshow is there great customer service when it comes to things like this.
Nothing worse than getting something uv been looking forward to for so long only to have something wrong with it.

If anyone here also has the eb version, what do you guys think about the suit material compared to the eb one?
For me (as I own the eb version), sadly the quality of the suit still can't tops eb.

It still atracts dusts, though not as bad as the 1/6 begins suit & can easily leave marks on the suit if not handled properly (Watch out for the stand)

I finally got the chance to really dig into this figure and get it out next to the QS001. It's grown on me a fair bit though overall QS001 still reigns supreme. Hot Toys did cut a few corners with the QS009 unfortunately but it's still a solid piece. Enjoy my pictures!

Also has anybody actually attempted to remove the bats on the front of the base?

Love the pics ShadowGuardian you covered pretty much everything!

Even as someone who much prefers the Batman Begins suit I have to agree the QS001 does a better job at representing it's source material than this figure does. Still I love this one in the first night out look and feel it's the best Bale sculpt to date.

Purely in terms of looks the Enterbay is still the 1/4 king for me. It's just beautiful.

wow, after seeing those pics, I want the QS001, looks superb.

btw, after receiving my return of SSC, I think I will request the refund, not happy with the "new" figure, now the eye (in the cowl) has a damage or scuff or something, so now Im not happy at all and I dont want to spend more time with that.

I mean, the body has some minor things as well but I was thinking to deal with that because the previous one has a lot of scuffs, but, the cowl is so bad.

and also the shipping now was so terrible, the boz is so damage, I dont care about the brown box but c'mon, it seems UPS had thrown the box or something like that.

Im thinking to find any QS001 but is too pricey jeje

This is why I don’t see HT redoing QS001. Barely shipping for a few months and already discounted. The 1/4 market isn’t quite there yet. That figure really was the complete package. I’d say it’ll be a long time before they redo it. But I’d like to be wrong. I’d pick up a redo even though I have two lol.
