Do we ever see a full shot of him in the suit, without the mask in the movie?
We don't. I don't think there's even a single shot in the entire movie of him in the suit, unmasked. Companies just took his drifter unmasked look in his Batcave and applied it to the suit for their figures and statues. It's why I said I think a large part of the sculpt looking small in some shots is how wide the shoulder armor is.

I wish that cape sat closer on the shoulders. We really needed a drape cape with this one.

Listen. People have been pointing out valid criticism since day 1. Maybe they weren't vocal enough, but I still don't give Inart props for implementing as much feedback as they like to pretend they do. I think that's all a part of embellishing their public image more than anything.

There is a shot of him unmasked in the suit. When he takes the cowl off and is watching the riddlers latest video about the Wayne’s and the arkhams.

Oh yeah you're right. Completely forgot about that scene. Interesting enough, he has the neck collar pieces taken off of his suit during that scene. Also has his gloves off and bandaged hands on during that bit.

Good catch. Maybe the wide collar design is helping the head look smaller too.

I need to check that review again to see if the collar is removable.

Update: It does. But the reviewer doesn't show the suit without the collar.

I still think it's largely due to how wide the shoulders comes across with the armor sticking out. The sculpt size itself seems proportionally okay but the shoulder armor bulging out is not helping. If the shoulder armor was sitting flush to his body, the awkwardness of the wideness disappears. The cowl sculpt has the benefit of being bigger with the added volume of the cowl itself. It helps offset this when that sculpt is on the suit but the unmasked sculpt doesn't get that luxury.

Makes me wonder. Could Inart have different sized heads shipped out? I wouldn't put it past them the way they seem to operate. Like trying to catch up on an entire semester's worth the day before the exam. I remember they shipped proto sculpts of Joker without magnets for crying out loud.
That was just QC issues.

This part should cave in a little more. Wonder if it's possible to heat up the sculpt and reshape it. Also in this picture, does it seem like the mouthplate isn't fully clicked in?

@potatocorner4life
I think the curve of the neck is too low/extreme which is also not helping.
Perhaps a neck replacement could do wonders for this figure. Something I'd love to see you explore.

The difference in color and texture between the neck and the cowl is a factor as well.

That neck Seam really does look bothersome, the stitching also goes all around the neck can which isn’t accurate. Excited to see what unreal can do to though the sculpt looks good so far. I will do testing on my part as well.

I was thinking of a mouth plate too the only thing is the sides of the cowl that might stick out. Like you said hopefully you can heat it up and adjust the movement.

Dude there’s noooo way that will ever be a possibility…not even in an alternate universe 🤣

The blow back would be THUNDEROUS and quite literally end the company.

Yup. Exactly. The Armor is definitely giving the illusion of having a small head.

But we didn’t give them feedback early on. At least I didn’t. It has to be spelled out for them. Again, also a general consensus needs to be reached and support.

Not trying to say I do it best, but that’s why I mark up drawings and comparisons. I literally try to spoon feed it to INART as simply as possible. It worked with Phoenix Joker and for the amount of feedback and criticism they’ve received for Superman, I bet we will see revisions as well. Lots of blatant inaccuracies. @potatocorner4life also marks up clear and concise comparison drawings as well, and I think that if we all did things like that it’d go a long way. Truth is, is that this type of feedback wasn’t really present since the beginning for Batman. Not until more recently. And especially not on Facebook which is where people should post critical feedback.

INART kinda does listen to critical feedback, but I do think the more blatant the inaccuracy the more reason they’d have to optimize it. Also, as far as certain details, it really depends on what they referenced as there’s various hero and prop suits used during film production. For example, in the film in certain scenes, the pants aren’t that baggy like in that picture inside the mayor’s house.

He’d make a good Batman I’ll tell you that

It is funny, so many people were against this Twilight emo dude... and now they are analyzing the suit and face to get every molecule right for their "Twilight emo" display.

The way of Batman casting since Keaton.

Same deal with "Brokeback" Joker, who became one of the most reproduced and sought after 1/6 figures of all-time.
