If folks are getting converted almost immediately from “Waitlist” then it’s just Sideshow creating FOMO. If you want to get a sense of orders for a product you’re releasing in a short timeline, fine. But they clearly saw collectors get wise to the idea that it literally does nothing to preorder Day 1 vs Day 229. So yes, it’s weak.

Could also be that the allotment Sideshow originally ordered actually sold out. They saw there was much more demand annd quickly ordered another allotment to make sure there were enough to fill that demand.
 
I’d be willing to believe sideshow ordered more on this.


How are the sold out preorder that haven’t come back into sideshow stock doing at Hong Kong retailers? Is there an abundance sideshow didn’t want to foot the bill for? Or are they sold out overseas too?

Haha, really? Her acting was fine, not her fault the lines/script were bad. Kid also comes across as nice, smart, funny. Beyond me why anyone would give her a hard time, unless she claimed she’s going to be an Olympic sprinter.

Nice pics anyway. I skipped all these Obi show figures personally, apart from Vader.
 
Something silly has popped into my head and I was hoping you all could humor me for a bit. I love the battle damaged head sculpt but Im really hoping there's a full head sculpt in the helmet. I imagine myself being a bit disappointed to look deep into the helmet and see half of Anakins face - or worse, half a head glued in tot he helmet. (so cheap looking)

Part of me wants to pick up another head to make a crispy ROTS Anakin.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately for you I’d say there’s no reason there’s a full head inside that helmet, sorry.

Yeah I think they may treat it like how they typically do masked characters with exposed eye sections/mouth areas. But it would be neat if is is a full sculpt underneath!

Hmm I think Anakin looks extra crispy in ROTS compared to the Kenobi show :lol
