Is this enhanced? Someone had said changing the batteries out made their saber noticeably brighter.

The picture is slightly enhanced to bring the colour out in Luke's face but the room was quite dark so it gave the lightsaber a look more illuminated rather than just a rod that was lit up.

Thread cleaned.

Thank you.

Loving my Luke figure but I still feel like he may be a smidge too tall. Have to think about what I might do to fix it. My OCD is killing me!

I'd remove the ankle pegs. Should work well as he's wearing tall boots which will give support.

For me he's way too tall...and the foot pegs are the standard short ones so they can't be swapped out...

Farmboy luke was near perfect...height wise

I didn't mean swap the pegs out, but remove them completely and drop the legs into the boots unattached.

Wow, didn't realize they had made him that tall. Although I'm actually kinda glad to hear that as shortening him will make the cloak drag more on the ground now like it should. I'll just have to take my dremel to the legs and cut them shorter, which is a pretty routine mod for me by this point (and one I just did with my VTS Max).

On some bodies I've pulled the ankle cup off, filed down one end of the ankle peg and pushed it up into the leg where the ankle cup had been.

It’s the same as a HT slim TT 22 or equivalent knock off.

If you file them down just enough they give you proper connection between leg and boot.

^Yeah sometimes that can work when the lower leg is already a lot longer than the upper one, but that doesn't seem to be the case with this body. And you might just end up with a really long looking upper leg afterwards, especially in any kind of action pose.

I think the problem is that where the boots attach to the ankle pegs is way too high inside the boot. The Han ANH boots peg in much lower than Luke’s. I may have to shorten the legs or tear apart the boots and lower where the boots peg in.

Are they the same boots ANH Han has (height-wise)? Hard to tell if they are or not. They kinda, sorta look a tad shorter, but now I see how much taller he is than I thought.

The Han boots themselves are taller but where the “foot” is inside the boots are different. The attachment inside the Han boot sits lower than the attachment inside the Luke boot.

Thanks jedijim. I, like you, am on the quest to get as good as a Luke (Lukes) as I can get. Trying to tidy up a Yavin Luke. Once I sort the boots, the jacket will be the only weak point.

You can see from the pics the boot is taller but the knee sits lower because the ankle peg attaches lower into the boot. Same size ankle pegs on both Luke and my custom.
