Thanks jedijim. I, like you, am on the quest to get as good as a Luke (Lukes) as I can get. Trying to tidy up a Yavin Luke. Once I sort the boots, the jacket will be the only weak point.

Cool. Please post pics. Mine currently has the Han boots which look better than the SS but not quite good enough now that I’ve seen the Jedi boots. I may pick up an extra pair and mod the ankles to ensure he stays the right height.

Nice collection..but that ANH sculpt will always bug me

I have a SW themed build on the bench right now, and because I drive for a living, I have a small flat base on the dash of my car and usually keep a spare headsculpt on there in my line of sight to keep me reminded of my hobby projects. Anyway, I have the ANH Luke one there right now. I have seen that headsculpt lit by sunlight from every angle and it’s a really good likeness. I reckon what throws it off is the hair. I often look down to the head and see a miniature Mark there. It’s all down to lighting I reckon.

Here are a few shots showing the differences in boots and what the height difference is just by changing the boots.

Both of these figures are on the same size body but because of the way the boots attach the height difference is about a quarter inch.

Thanks! LOL It’s actually my ottoman.

Ok so I’ve managed to get him to a better height and I think I’m happy with it.

First had to undress and take off the lower legs.

Then popped out the ankle adapter. Just twist and pull.
Then I shaved down the bottom of the ankle on the shin about 1/8 of an inch and shaved the top of the ankle adapter down about 1/8 of an inch.

Glued them back in place and redressed.

I’ll post comparison pics next to a stock a Luke when I get my second from BBTS.

it seems you did a pretty good job with the height.

One thing caught my eye. Is the Jedi Luke belt bigger than the DX07 belt? It may just be the fact that Jedi Luke is closer to the camera...

Just looked on evilBay at the prices for this on there. Are there actually people insane enough to pay those prices??? $390 and up.

I mean I'm feeling desperate about getting this figure but I would never pay over $250 for it. Blows my mind. I get the whole limited supply/high demand paradigm but goodness gracious, great balls of wtf...

It is @ BBTS & Timewalker. I've been checking both every hour for two days hoping somebody will cancel their order; no luck so far. Scalper prices all over the 'Bay. It's hard out here a pim----....ccollector....

You’re looking at this from a US perspective. My guess is most sellers commanding that price are from Asia and getting that price from international buyers, and they had the figure available before Sideshow.

For some people that might not be that big a price hike. They might be looking at the retail price from Sideshow, plus international shipping, then having to pay 20% taxes on both, and looking at something closer to $350, so they’re willing to pay the extra surcharge to get it earlier.

Just order from Sideshow and forget about it. They have a rewards program so you have to subtract the $11 you get there to make yourself feel less bad about the high shipping. You don’t want to mess around with his figure. It’s a must have.

Yes. The Jedi belt is wider and the buckle is bigger. No problem.

Jedijim, is your Luke using the inner suit? Or did you remove it?

I removed the middle section. I left the hips down intact and left like a crop tank top to help keep the shoulders looking smooth. There are actually additional pads inside the fat suit so that when you cut it you can remove those as well. I did.
