Hey guys. I got my BP and am excited to add to my collection. I wanted to see if anyone has had any issues with the stitching on the suit. My BPs Left side looks good but the right is off. See pics below:

Is this normal?

Mine doesn't have that hole, but I think they stitch these on one side, then the other. When they pull the second side, it's got to be pretty tight, which is why the stitching isn't as even. I expect this will be the case for a lot of these. Mine is ok but I can see where it's less even.

Yep. The seller even contacted them back on this to make sure they didn't make a mistake and their rep said it was no mistake and said it didn't seem like an issue (exact words were 'for such a minor issue') and that the customer (me) could either return it or keep it. I was surprised they didn't want to do anything to fix the issue.

They probably are tired of replacing figures that got damaged because of people who buy figures and damage them by putting them in extreme poses then ask for replacement.

Shameful. That looks like a DEFECT where someone did a sloppy job sewing BP into his suit. At minimum you should have been offered a decent discount coupon.
Because of the uneven stitches it would strain every time you posed BP. That was a ripped suit in waiting. Your seller sounds awesome tho.

For such a stripped down fig, needs to have good quality at least. I'm still sitting re getting this guy - I need him to go w. my in-work civvie Buck, just some things bother me and he's expensive...guess no choice tho if I want him. Not paying more than his original release price tho.

Got him!!!! Not bad at all, re tax/ship - 'coz I took a look around and this fig is having a price bubble for now anyway...may be a lot of these dumped to the 'bay re another version one day, but for me this is THE Civil War, first appearance of BP, version.

Hope FP is better than SSC if there's an issue in this case - tho for me so far SSC has been alright to deal with. So far. I'll find out if there's an issue w. some polys on order.

after checking my right side is not as clean as the left. After looking at Optibotimus review his right side is not clean either. I think what someone said was right the sew one side first(the left) which makes the right side tighter and harder to sew cleanly.

True. Wish they hadn't stitched him into this at all, because would have liked to tried a de-stuffed bodysuit - or something - to smooth out what looks to me like some harsh lines from the body underneath. One of my nits about the fig (aside from not getting another set of clawed hands or an Antman or a head sculpt).
But most folks seem very happy with him.

Has anyone had any creasing on the solid black piping on this outfit? I haven't really done any extreme poses or anything but I've got a tiny crease.

I ordered from Cmdstore, because they where one of the last sites to still have preorders at MSRP. still nothing.Kinda wish I had waited now, though I hear Cmdstore is trustworthy at least. Just wish I had it now.

I dunno! Thanks to cubsfan mine just came (amazing fast ship and double box) from Forbidden Planet. Just unboxed -
at first I was *shrug* but looking him over - there's awesome detail here and he just feels solid. Kinda put him in the same "category" as Bucky IMO stripped down w. few accessories, but awesome. No major issues.

OK. Could be a little neater, but OK. My BP head could be a little tighter - it's too easy to pop off, but whatever. Least my joints are tight, no blemishes that I can see.



Seems to be a bit taller than Bucky - not by much...



Love these two together. Nothing to do w. the film, really, just think they go together well re display. Definitely better than I thought he would be in hand.

Nice! I ended up buying another and the stitching is very similar to yours, but not as bad as my original. The open hole in the armpit area was what was driving me nuts.

I just ordered a Cap and Scarlett Witch so Ill have me a good set for display! I need more from the Iron Man Civil War side though.

Hey, congrats Erigo! Glad things worked out - the more I have BP, the happier I am that (thanks to a fellow Freak) I scooped one up at retail. BP's just - solid w. so much detail. And Cap is IMO fantastic (I love all my Caps - CW, Golden Age, and Stealth). Wanda is my next must-have - hope my AC Play Wanda comes in tomorrow, but really want CW and Ultron Wanda. (Would'a gotten Ultron SW from SSC this month, but *huh* they told me my 25$ promotion had already been used, even tho it was a different coupon)

Plus, like everyone says, BP is really fun to pose. IMO HT did good, even if w. BP and Bucky they were kinda cheap about included extras.
