Re: NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

There's no denying the awesome of the size, but seeing him next to HT had helped me pinpoint what looks off, how far apart the legs are, NECA almost looks bowlegged, they may have done it on purpose for certain poses to be possible, but in most pics so far, it looks a bit odd. I have the HT Ultron and prefer it for the realism, but I would love to add NECA not only for size, but they sculpted his muscles unlike any other figure, I'd settle for a special 7" scale release even, it's just too expensive with all of the things coming out that I want, I had to choose HT or NECA, and only because I could get the HT deluxe for NECA price.

Re: NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

That's right the cinemaquette, forgot about that one lol.

Yeah no doubt best Hulk collectible ever created only equal being the full size theater display from TIH.

Hopefully I will be able to get a good pose out of Necas.

In the review he said and shows no ankle articulation.

But either he is wrong or there is a work around with proper leg posing because look here.

Why would they have a joint if it's not articulated, makes no sense, could be stiff or turned so it didn't work, you just have to play.

NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

Well this is really unexpected....

I was at my local collectibles store and they actually got him in. I really wasn't expecting them to, but they did. Cost me $300 CAD. That's a lot (I've never spent that much on a single figure), but it's a hell of a lot better than ordering from the US and paying $400+.

He's 2 feet of pure anger. I love him, though there's less articulation than I would like. It's understandable though because he stays standing, but having nothing in the ankles save for a swivel really restricts posing. Finally completed the big 4. :)

Edit: More pictures coming soon!

NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

As I expected, Hulk is just that much more awesome when out alongside the other Avengers. Still a sweet figure in his own right, but I appreciate him a lot more next to Cap, Thor, and Iron Man.

Honestly I'm not sure if $300 for the figure was worth it or not, but it was most definitely worth $300 to finally have the big four all together in this scale.

Added him to the display. Can't believe I've bought 13 of these 1/4 figures haha. Hopefully Harley Quinn and Deadpool are awesome.

Re: NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

Great point about the cost of ownership having different meanings, what might be questionable on its own is priceless in a group.

Man I can't believe you have your 1/4 figures on shelves perched up like that, especially Hulk. Thank the maker for those stands!

They all look great btw.

Deadpool does look good.

Re: NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

Swore I posted this yesterday, but it's not showing up haha. Guess I forgot.

Re: NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

He might be a tad too short, maybe by 2", but at least he's the correct height to pull off the famous punch!

Allow me to demonstrate lol.

Re: NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

Thank you B.

My review of him to follow.

Are your shoulder joints tight on yours?

Mine are halfway loose so the arms drop if touched.

I was expecting a ratchet joint for the shoulders
