Got my replacement body today. There's a mark on his left thigh and his arse like moisture had developed and settled for a while. I make it sound worse than it is. I remember my MMS67 Bale Batmen had similar marks, I'm not sending it back again, it's fine. The real suit probably had marks like it all over the place.

But I have a belated recommendation for people regarding the cape - try the magnet thing first, which appears to have done pretty well on Bo Shrek's stock cape. Why? Because I've got a custom cape and I'm still gonna need to use magnets on it. It just isn't sitting naturally like the previous cape I bought for DX09 and that was the whole damn point. Based on that cape for DX09 I assumed this would similarly be a winner right out the gate but no, it needs work. And since that's the case the rest of you might aswell try the magnet method with the stock cape.

Really not happy with this. ***k it anyway why didn't I go for that full refund on the figure and cancel the cape.

Before Batfleck, yes...I thought Keaton looked like the best Batman.
even better than Bale.

But I have to admit, I was one of the Affleck haters who were so pissed off about the casting until I saw the photoshop of his face in the cowl.
I was like...hey wait a sec...holy heck...he actually really does look like Batman!
Then I read about the people defending him saying his acting is much much better now and dont compare him to his old days of acting.
So after being a lot more open minded now, I think Affleck looks like the best one so far.

Returns cowl is still my overall #1 -- but Batfleck's regular cowl became my instant close second when I saw it. I thought maybe it was just that I find the shorter ears refreshing, but the more I see it I realized that the thing I love most about it is how organic it looks: the texture, the wrinkles on the temples... it looks like a second skin and not a mask. A beautiful contrast to the perfect sharpness of Returns cowl

Who's the best ever is highly subjective. IMO (no one is ever going to change it) Keaton is the best, for various reasons (personal, etc) But I'm only talking about Cowl looks.

I would agree that the "Batman Returns" cowl is the best looking one they've ever made. The new "Batman v Superman" cowl looks very good, but I've always preferred the look of the Batman cowl with the longer ears over the way Frank Miller depicted it, with the shorter ears. I have to give them a lot of credit though for making a very good recreation of that particular cowl for the new "Batman v Superman" movie. But yeah, imo the "Batman Returns" cowl is the best overall cowl that they've done so far.

Thanks Fran. I've photographed and packaged it back up. I'm not keeping it. Just don't like it unfortunately, it has caused me more frustration than anything else.

I mean, the Returns cowl looks better than everything else really. From all sides.

Yes. Ideally I would return it but do I have reasonable grounds to do so? These marks may have developed during transit for all I know, a moisture reaction to being encased in bubblewrap or something, or even if not - I can see how they wouldn't have been noticed. I would have lived with them except the capes are just not good enough. The stock cape is woeful, the custom cape is only slightly better. And I'm certainly not spending any more money on a different cape. So I don't want the figure anymore.

I've seen people say they returned stuff for no reason more than buyer's remorse - personally I consider that unfair on a retailer especially if they can't get reimbursed themselves. So in my case I've got those marks and just being unsatisfied with how the figure looks overall, factors which are certainly creating buyer's remorse.....
