A big thumbs up for HT even making one of these. Man, I would love to check it out in person.

Yeah me too, i'd love to see this in person. I dont think they ever sell 1/6 millenium falcon though, this is just for hottoys display at anicom. But im sure they will make 1/12 scale millenium falcon

Why would HT "announce" (in the exact same way they announce upcoming for-sale products) a piece that is solely used for convention displays?

You mean the same way they did with the 1:1 Thor for the aou show or the 1:1 hulk buster they did for the toy soul show?

The announcement actually said its for a show..

On July 24 – 28, Hot Toys will once again be participating in Ani-Com and Games Hong Kong (ACGHK), the biggest pop-culture event in Hong Kong!

This year Hot Toys is partnering up with The Walt Disney Company (Hong Kong) to bring the biggest Star Wars presence in the event where a number of Star Wars collectibles by Hot Toys and life-size exhibits will be on display! Starting today we will give fans some sneak peek of what to expect at ACGHK!

Recently Hot Toys has showcased an impressive 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon cockpit at San Diego Comic-Con which has already fascinated many Star Wars fans! But we are not stopping there yet, as a complete and highly detail 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon measuring close to 18 feet (5.5 meters) long by 12 feet (3.7 meters) wide will actually be making an appearance at ACGHK! Its sheer astonishing presence will surely captured any fans’ attention!

If you want to see this spectacular exhibit in person, then you have to come to Hot Toys’ booth (E15-16) at ACGHK in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre this week!

I'm curious if there are any millionaires on the Freaks forum that could possibly buy this if it was actually made to order.

Even a Falcon in proper scale with the 3.75'' Hasbro figures would probably be an impossibility for me.

A piece like that, much like the 1/6 TIE fighter...would necessitate that I get rid of all other collectibles, but that's just me. I'd at least consider it. The problem with that is choosing one iconic "wow"-piece to reference pop culture but losing out on variety. I dig Iron Man (just one figure, though ;) ), Spider-Man, Batman, Kung Fu/Martial Arts and Star Wars. I'd be missing out on some cool stuff.

Actually...anyone know the measurements and math? What would the measurements of a 1:18 scale Falcon be?

Can't wait for HT to make 1/6th scale Death Star with functional retractable beam to pull that Millennium Falcon at 2017 ACGHK!

So far people are extremely dubious about all this...Just another day on the sideshow freaks forum!

They have made a scale Flacon for 3.75 figures. It was 6 ft by 4ft.

It it was a special thing for Toys R Us and were raffled off for charity.

Hot Toys' one-off 1/6 cardboard and polystyrene Falcon...

I wonder if they've developed a smaller scale (like the BAT), and this will be an scaled-up printing?

Seems odd they'd go to this much trouble just for a display piece, but if the R&D was already put into a smaller version it would make sense. Maybe we'll get lucky and this will be a regular guest at big shows like SDCC and Celebrations. I'd love to see this in person.

I was thinking they would do 1/12 vehicles from this line down the road. Just downscale the Tiefighter and Falcon that they have now.
