Boy until the first figure is previewed I'm going to be waiting for each newsletter like Christmas morning!

Well if it takes them as long as it did World of Warcraft for the first item to be announced, you will be waiting for SDCC, and even then they would be unfinished.

Well remember that the first figure is scheduled to ship as early as July so I imagine we'll have a preorder within the next three weeks.

I don't think it was political, just they didn't have one ready yet. But we'll probably see something long before SDCC.

I wouldn't count on SSC putting in an appearance at the Joe Con either - Heath said in chat that SDCC was the only convention this year.

They have stuff ready. They're just waiting for something (what, I don't know). That's why I figure Hasbro might have something to do with why nothing was shown during Toy Fair (but that's a complete shot-in-the-dark guess).

Do you know which version of Snake Eyes is being released first? :) I'm guessing it'll be the '82 original but I'm firmly in the camp that prefers the '85 version with wolf and sword.

'85 is more popular.. but I'll be happy with the 82'.

Sankeyes and Stormshadow are the two figures they can make more then one version.

Hey Question?

Is there a difference between the different GIJOE series?

The License says it's for "GIJoe vs Cobra" ?

Thats the same as "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero"...it's mostly to point out a difference between the original G.I. Joe figures (Pre-80's) and the "Real American Hero" series (G.I. Joe vs. Cobra) that MOST of us have fond memories of.

I wonder why '85 never gets any love....ok, I understand since 97 they could never reissue it because the mold was lost or destroyed, but when the 25th line comes around and they have a chance to do an all new re-sculpt, they just give him the v1 body and a new head and belt. I want my Commaninja SE dammit.

There are a lot of figure they can do multiple versions that would possibly sell. There are three versions of Cobra Commander that could sell (hooded, battle helmet, and Fred armoured Cobra Commander). Plus, some others. Personally, I want the Version One Snake Eyes the most. To me, he is the best design that would translate well the the 1/6th format. He a lot of textures and real world elements that to me would look great.
