practice story

I poured a glass of tomato juice and something plopped into my glass
as I finished drinking I looked at bottom of glass to find my rock

Boba Ben's Creative Writing Contest

Okay. I'm holding a contest. I'll leave it open over the weekend so everybody should hopefully be able to participate if they want to. The winner will get a 12" vinyl Godzilla 1989 figure by X-Plus from my personal collection.

I love short horror stories, but I don't have a ton of time right now. That's where you come in. Quote this post and respond with your best one to two sentence short horror story. The one that I find the creepiest and most bone chilling wins. One entry per person, please.

Here's an article you can read for inspiration:
21 Chilling Two-Sentence Horror Stories to Creep You Out - Dread Central

Here's a blurry photo I took of the figure.

My entry:

We were together for 7 years. She was the quiet type it seemed, not much for chatter. A bit cold at times as well. But she was always by my side, and I loved her since the day I met her.
It was a shock when the cops showed up at the door telling me she had gone missing and asked if I had seen her. Sad to think of a life without her.
But I guess when you steal a corpse from the morgue, eventually they catch up to you and take her away...

Re: Spooktacular 2014

everyone please stop entering the writing contest

I really do not want to lose

you would not like me if I lose

to lose is to fail

failure is not an option

Houston will have a problem

I'm bad at counting, but that seems like more than one or two sentences :lol

The echo of the doorbell was ringing in my ear when I opened the door,
still clutching my recently unboxed Godzilla vinyl.

It was a split second later when the rock in Avfin's hand cracked my skull
and I fell, hearing his monstrous roar of great intensity replace
the chiming from my quickly fading heart.
