Hey cool, thanks for posting. I didnt know there was a Neytiri figure and i have looked.
I'm sure the material and detailing is awesome, joints look pretty good aswell. Even in the pictures it looks like a well handcrafted quality piece.
Too bad they seem to have adjusted a humanoid face instead of creating one based on Neytiri's, for that price the likeness should be spot on.

Personally i like the prototype more aswell and i shamefully use this as an excuse to post my own prototype aswell

Yah those are some expensive Tonner dolls but they are 22" and they are made out of resin which is more expensive. However, Tonner does do payment plans if anyone is really interested in them.
So does Hot Toys have any plans to continue the Avatar line? It would seem really dumb not to do a Neytiri figure since she was probably one of the most popular characters from the movie....but I haven't heard anything about them continuing the line at all.....

I really like you prototype! The face is really well done! And the eyes look amazing, do you have any close-ups of the face?

The material of the faces is transparent so its very hard to see on a photo.

Yeah the glass eyes really bring a spark of life to a face. Thats one of the things i like on Jake's figure aswell.
The current eyes are hazel, a standard color. Custom colors are an option aswell so i hope to get them a bit more yellow.

Still can't believe they only released him. If there was ever a call for a twin pack, it's these two. Maybe after the release of Avatar 2. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they released Jake again.

It's really funny. Neytiri has to sleep with HT like Tony did to get the figure released lol..

It's really ashsame HT didn't release her. They will look awesome in pair. An announcement of her will bring Jack back to live..

I don't think it was intentional. It doesn't seem like Jake sold well, and that combined with the cost of making the figure and some possible modesty issues with Neyteri, maybe HT was scared off of doing anything more with this line. It's also possible Jake was a one off to being with. Too bad considering the efforts put in to making this brand new body.
I agree, HT has invested well on this. You see old HT won't even think of this. just need to care for customer. but now HT focuses more in the great franchise..

Seriously?! Did people actually complain about modesty issues with Neytiri?! Or just the possibility of it? I think they will probably make more once the Avatar 2 is released. The craze for Avatar has died down a lot so it might not be worth it to them to make her right now. I'm just glad I was able to obtain the Neytiri Ex statue from sideshow. She is definitely my favorite statue!

I have seen some pretty good prices for the Jake Sulley, but I have resisted. I think what deters me is that he doesn't really fit into my collection anywhere. That paired with the oversized nature of him. I think I would be much more sold if he was in the soldier fatigues.
You never know though.... once the sequels get hot and heavy they could revisit the line if it has worldwide appeal.
